So i'm kind of fed up with everyone crying about how hard inferno is. It is actually working as intended. Blizzard personally stated that they expect inferno to take about 1 month to beat, why?
1. Each act of inferno is supposed to be considered a completely different difficulty, the jump in damage etc is similar to that of nightmare to hell or hell to act 1 inferno.
-This makes it so that to progress from one act to the next, you are REQUIRED to spend a considerable amount of time in the previous act to farm gear. And please don't say you need act 3 gear to beat act 2 or act 1. I personally have been farming act 1 with a few friends for a week and EVERY gear that i'm currently wearing is from act 1. And i'm doing fine in act 2.
(act 1 gear has the chance to have over 100 to both stats and 50+ resistances, you just have to farm).
2. People right now are crying about how impossible Act 2 inferno is, they say act 1 was never the problem. remember when the game just came out? EVERYONE was crying about how hard act 1 was. You know why it's not a problem anymore? because people were smart and farmed gear and resistance. now give it a few weeks and it'll be "act 3 is impossible, act 2 was never a problem". You just can't ever please people can you?
3. I rushed through Hell as a 2-H barbarian without any stun spells and 0 resistances (for everyone who was crying that you'd have to sword and board and stun for Hell). When it comes to inferno, there is actually a HUGE gear check wall that you must pass in order to survive.
-This is something called resistance. To my knowledge to tank act 1 without a problem you're required to have around 300-400 resistances.
-Act 2 should require around 700-800, i'm sitting at 600 and can do act 2, just a bit hard.
-Act 3 should require 1000 or so, not sure
-Don't even know about act 4
-This happens due to the increasing level of mobs, your damage reduction is lowered with higher level mobs which is why you're required to have more resistance each act.
4. Everyone who was crying bout inferno was most likely spoiled by the other difficulties and their incompetence and negligence towards actually working for something. as stated, INFERNO WAS NOT MEANT TO BE BEATEN IN A FEW DAYS OR EVEN A WEEK. it's a fact that farming the right gear WILL get you through inferno, you get one shotted because you DO not have the gear.
All in all, INFERNO is working as intended, it's not meant to be rushed through, it's meant to take TIME AND EFFORT to obtain good enough gear to progress through acts. farming for a few weeks will most likely net you the stats to progress, so stop crying, some people actually like the challenge (and please don't say "omg farming gear is not fun" well get over it, it's what diablo is, we're incentivized to play for the gear hunt, it was the same with diablo2 and it's still the same in diablo 3). So honestly stop fucking crying and being spoiled brats, blizzard didn't fail, inferno was designed to be nigh impossible for under geared people.
It wasn't meant to be beaten by everyone, if you want to beat inferno, work for it, it's not going to take a day, it's going to actually take a considerable amount of time.
The people crying are generally the WoW crowd that are used to being able to clear content in the first week. I've just found it easier to ignore their posts while I'm enjoying the game
No, you are completely wrong. There is no way a game is built correctly if I can't beat it super easy, and then when I do, it was obviously weakened for the "casual" crowd.
/sarcasm
I agree. Everyone was so scarred Inferno would be easy, and it was all talk, and about how the game was made easier for the "WoW" or "casual" fans, and when they have to actually farm for more than a few hours (gasp! you actually have to farm for more than an hour!) they through a hissy fit.
I 100% agree and am having a blast farming act 1 on my WD.
If it is too hard at first, just do what I did and level another hero to take your mind off how hard it was, then try again, you may get lucky and get nice combinations on the champion/elite packs.
The only problem I have with it, is that I can't use the skillset I want, you HAVE to take defensive abilities combined with the gear. I'd like to run in and start whirl winding like a real barbarian should (with caution of course, i'm only somewhat of a moron), not sit there with a shield and try to cheese health regen.
Yea, hit a brick wall on my wiz in act 1 inferno... just farmed the first few quests with me and a DH.... 3 hours later we just roflstomped leoric was nice =) now my wiz is stuck again lol, so leveling a monk.
And remember, the people who complain about this game, or even compliment it are a minority, Until there are 5m+ registered users, with active accounts (at least 3 posts a day) you won't be able to gather any real data on what the perception of the game is. (Based off of people who make threads to complain/compliment)

That goes hand in hand with gear. You won't be able to beat the content without gearing properly, and thus you won't be able to go all out DPS, whatever build you want without gearing properly. I mean hell, inferno Act 1 was tough, me and a buddy kept hittin butchers enrage timer, but finally beat it and farmed it. I've solo'd the whole act many times as a DH, and just now starting running through it with 200%+ MF gear. Goes a little slower but the gear I've gotten with MF (from act 1) still helps out.
And people were whining there was no end game >< +1 op !
