I like what Blizzard did with D3, the fights are incredibly dinamyc compared to D2, and we didnt even play the PvP yet...
However, I expect that Blizz would add more content to the game soon, and in a few monts, maybe something like Ubber quest and stuff like that.
What Im really hating right now, is the time Blizzard is taking to fix the latency issues...
The problem right now is not a lack of content. If they fix some of the things that are broken, they can take their sweet time releasing new content.
I agree. I think the complaints about how short the game is come from people that don't realize this game is based on replayability. They want you to be able to login with your friends and kill a boss or two, and on the higher difficulties, they want beating the game to feel attainable. I'm always cool with more content, but I don't think Blizzard screwed up what they did with D3. I'm having a blast just playing the game itself, and it's only when I look for things to complain about that I notice small issues.
Have you considered that maybe these complainers you hate so much actually really wanted to enjoy the game? And that they're upset because the game is not what they were expecting. I just made an account to post this, so I'm not one of your dreaded complainers but I just might be soon. If I come to this board (or more likely, the Blizzard Diablo 3 board) to post about something I don't like, it's because I really care about the game and I want to see it improved (in my eyes).

Some criticism over time is understandable, but much of the bitchin we're hearing is unwarranted as we haven't had time to really learn the game yet, Bliz has explicitly stated that their work is just beginning and we should expect patches to be forthcoming, as well as a PvP arena and many changes/new additions.
People just flat-out aren't being patient. What's worse is those of us whom are patient, whom do love this game, whom do see the potential, are being called "fanboys" and "retards".
It kinda sucks to post on our fansite while we're at work/taking a break, and have to be called retard fanboys for liking the game we're all excited about. If you truly don't like it, contact customer support and take advantage of their 30 day return policy and shut the !@$# up about it.
I call bullshit on most of the haters anyway. They spout off here for a few minutes and likely hurry back to the game, and will continue to play it for years, bitching like school children the whole time. Like some fat kid that ate a whole pizza and then complained about how bad it was.

Really wanted to enjoy the game? I am confused. What's not to like other than what EVERY game that is MMORPG have? New release bug syndrome. This is to be EXPECTED. It's how Blizzard as a business has become so huge. They know what's wrong. They accept it, talk about it, and even allow us to voice our opinion. However, what gets me the most are the people who never played either of the Diablo games before this and seemed to want another World of Warcraft. The news on this game has been out there way before release. Why didn't people do their homework first to see if they'd even like it?
i dunno... i'm what you would call a "retrograde" diablo player.
i played diablo 2 first before getting a copy of diablo . the system in diablo 1 (compared to diablo 2) was horrible (because i got used to diablo 2). but i enjoyed it, and never did i complain about it (everyone who played diablo 1 must remember the first monk from the hellfire exp). why should i complain? the game was the best of its time.
i enjoyed both versions of diablo because i played them as they are, not expecting the one to be like the other. and i think the same should be applied to diablo 3 too.
so if people have their complaints they should send/post it where the appropriate people would read/see it and take action, not just post it on forums just to see how many more are just like you. honestly i am getting tired of people posting something like "rest in peace blizz north" or "diablo 3 is the diablo franchise's death" and other variants.
it took us twelve long years of waiting, i'm not giving up on it in just 2 weeks after launch.
p.s. i am having a blast playing the game, i file tickets or post suggestions to their cs about problems and set-backs, but that doesn't stop me from playing and i doubt i will stop anytime in the next 2 to 3 years
I just finished Belial on normal difficulty and I died like 5 times in a row, until I found the right build to annihilate him.
I've died before that with the WD... my main. The game is captivating on a number of points. Such as the environment, the story is interesting, and the magic items are a plenty.
The only MAJOR problem I have is with the legendary items... they aren't LEGENDARY. They should be hard as hell(inferno) to get, but they should be godly.
Besides that the game is stellar in my opinion. It just came out, so it's going to go through growing pains... but people still complain it's too easy, because I can just use the Ah... well don't then idiot.
So many complaints and it just came out, let them sort it out. Atleast we finally got the damn thing. I understand people are people and they like to complain, but Blizzard always said we'll never meet your expectations... why? Because people are messed up and expect the unattainable. Be thankful the game is as good as it is.
I think they just burnt themselves out and won't admit it, Diablo3 is awesome.
