So you expect reviewers to review D3 how exactly? Kinda hard to review a online game when the servers are off. Also could be Blizzard is being very protective about the story and spoilers? (Which is funny considering Blizz story telling is the most predictable thing ever I can probably already tell you what will happen without knowing a thing past the events of Act 1) Either a very weak troll post or ya truely didn't think about what you just typed out. lol
There are no reviews whatsoever for the game so far. I'm sure if they wanted to Blizzard could have allowed server access to a handful of prelaunch game reviewers, like Gamespot.
Could this mean they are afraid of negative reviews prior to launch? Like what they do sometimes with crappy big budget movies? Especially since they pre-sales have been going so strong.
Review are other people's opinions, so why in the world you should listen to them?
You should play the game and have an opinion yourself, in the end that opinion is the only one that counts, it doesn't matter if the person making the review has 30+ years experience in the gaming industry, the only thing that experience gives you is a better insight, or understanding of the game, but eve though having experience, you can still be wrong.
Play the game, enjoy it!
As for me i cant wait until 12.01 AM. Despite what grandmasters reviewers say or don't.
When a game has been in development for 6 years, comes from a well known and reputable company and has just had a reasonably succesful beta one questions why people feel the need for reviews before its server opening.
Even if every reviewer trashed this game or wrote perfect reviews it is unlikely to change the likelihood of anyone who has followed this game for such a long time from buying it. Those who haven't followed it may want reviews... But they can wait for at least a week or so after it is released surely since they are obviously not that keen to play.
Usually early reviews are done for two things (as I understand it):
1) Either to boost the games hype, as people get a sense of how good it is. In this case, more often than not, the company is paid to either give it a good score (and thus earn more revenue themselves) or to not post the review if the scord is very bad. Seeing as the game has broken all pre-order records, Blizzard has no interest in this.
2) The review site pays the company to be able to put out a early review, as they know they will generate a ton of revenue by having a popular gamereview up before it's competitors. Again, Blizzard has no interest in this as they have never done early reviews before. They gain nothing by it, and the spoiler-issue (which Blizzard have pretty much guided with their life) would be big.
This obviously goes for the big review sites only. Big-Bobs-Awesome-Review.com isn't one of these.
That's my 5 cents.
Hey, that's my site! What do you have against big bob???

- Not quite the sharpest arrow in the quiver? Do you buy every game at 50 bucks to see if you like it?
Not every game, i am old enough to make my own decisions, i don't need anyone telling me what to buy or not. If i buy a game ---whatever the cost the game has--- is because I KNOW I WILL ENJOY IT, not because it has a 11/10 review. So far i have never regretted a purchase because i know what i like.
But you in the other hand, if you enjoy reading reviews and making your choices based on other people's opinions, go ahead, don't let me keep you. By all means. I am happy for you.
I guess reviews aren't for everyone. I am just happy to make my own decisions, that's all. :Thumbs Up:
And even if this game gets 1/10, i will buy it, and i will play it and enjoy it with those who share the same thoughts as i do.

and that is most of us.
No reviews = Working as intended
No early access = Review at 2~3 days after release
