Except Barb + WD + Monk is better for sure. Having double melee means each of them take less damage separately and WD is a midrange character not a longrange one so it's a perfect match. Pets will be taking less damage as well but at the same time help take some heat off everyone.

I agree with this, however my friend is pretty adamant on playing DH so I guess WD it is for me
Getting a less tanking class over classes with more agility (i.e. DH) helps to make the group staying together more often through the higher difficulties.
Also, WD can potentially pull a lot more than the group can handle with the pets. As much as group control you can get from WD, it can also bring you chaos if not carefully played.
On the 2nd thought, this could also brind heaps of challenges and probably more fun to group with.

They have pretty much decided on playing barb and DH, I haven't decided whether to play as WD or Monk.
What do you guys think is the best 3 man team?

Me=DH Friend1=Barb Friend2=Wizard
Me=Dex Gear Friend1= Str gear Friend2=Int gear
2 ranged attackers and a beefy meatshield/distraction
Wiz = best aoe (so far i can see)

Yea WD, the slow skills and summons will greatly benefit both other characters, WD is going to be awesome for squad play.
