For some reason I LOVE launch midnight release gaming. For some reason it is just a blast having to experience a new game with all people that have not played it. Just seems like everyone is in a cheerful mood and just everyone is in a exciting mood and ready to explore.
That is why I will be on the second servers go up because I don't like being that guy that learns about everything after everyone else does and everyone is way past me. That is why my team is beating normal non stop playing when servers go live
Since blizzard appears to hate the east coast, I'm not sure what's going to happen because staying up until 3am just to start an install, and then possibly another 30 minutes to an hour for all the patching to be done etc.. Probably going to try to get to sleep early and wake up and play.
mwuhahahhaahahahahahahahha, well, i live in Australia, and here in the future, we get our diablo 3 at 3pm in the afternoon. I tend to not sleep very well for various reasons, i generally crash at about 5am or even later, so with some quick math i can assume i will be playing foooor.... 14+ hours? on day one. Oh yes. Ohh..i cannot wait...

Currently playing: League of legends, Legend of Grimlock, Magic:the gathering 2012, Dota 2 beta, Civilisation IV
I plan on setting my alarm for 3am then beginning the un encryption (told can't do it earlier because of digital copy) then I will sleep to about 7am then I will get up and hopefully be able to log in.
I will Then play until 3pm which is when I have to work sadly.
I have zero plans to play that night because I would rather go to bed, get a good nights sleep and then wake up at 7am and go for a marathon 14-18 hour session.
The only hiccup to my plan of being in bed by 10PM is the fact that I am still on the fence about getting the collectors edition. See, I already have the Annual Pass Diablo 3, so I would basically be paying $100 to get... Angel Wings. Yay.
I have a team that is going to be playing from launch non-stop until we beat normal difficulty.
I am not sure how everyone else on my team is going to handle it but I am just going to go to sleep at around 3:00PM on the 14th then get up at midnight and chill until the servers go live. After launch day I will probably just take it easy and have fun, still going to be playing a lot though :Thumbs Up:
The local servers go live here at midnight, and I will be counting down the minutes. But, the first night I will probably just play solo for a few hours. I can progress pretty fast as a barbarian, but still want to stop and check out cool things, shop vendors, and try new spells. I just don't want to feel pressured to run through content in the middle of the night. Besides, the players that make it deep into the game during the first day will be better players to group with anyway. The next day, I will probably be bored of solo and look for some group action. Either way, I will be in Inferno before 90% of the player base.

"If you don't have a TV, then what is all your furniture pointed at?"
The servers aren't up until 5pm in Australia, so midnight is not even an option for me.
I'll be buying the hard copy that day and installing it as soon as I walk in the door, ETA 6pm.
While its installing I'll be doing the bath/bed/diner routine for my daughter, then come 7:30pm I'll be playing D3 all night.
I've taken the following day off work, so there is no need for me to get to bed at a reasonable hour, so I'll probably play until about 1am.
Next day I'll get my daughter of to day care, get back home at 8:30am, picking up Maccas on the way, then settle in to play D3 for about 8 hours straight until I have to leave to pick up my daughter again.

At least... thats the plan.
maccas breakfast is the best part of this plan! That will keep you going for hours

- Zero time wasted on cooking. (3 minutes spent going through dirve-in negligable)
- Zero time wasted on clean up.
- Can be eaten with one hand, leaving a mouse hand available.

My noodly god... I've never thought of that 'til now.
Kinda says more about you than about me, though. ^^
