I haven't had FPS issues, but every now and then my beta would completely lag out and in the end I'd have to task manager out of there and restart, its getting quite annoying. Maybe someone knows how to fix this?
I notice lag and FPS drops, but I just hover my mouse over the latency meter and see my ping is 400+ ms then I know it's not me, it's the servers being stressed, which is what Blizzard wanted.
For me patch 15 actually fixed the "slow motion" issue I was having. Before I was getting 60fps constant but it felt like 30fps or less, now it's running at 60fps constant and actually feels like it.

The question isn't why do I kill. The question is, why I don't kill everybody.
I have played on 2 different computers and with both the game runs like absolute shit the when you 1st start out, and then smooths out after like a minute. Of course this has happened for a long time now....

One is never hurt by being given additional choices, only by taking them away. A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
Was running patches 13 and 14 fine. 15 tho started off very rough for me. I also posted about it in the beta feedback forums and a few others agreed with me.
When starting 15 for the 1st time, I noticed my graphics card was running much cooler than normal, like 15 degrees cooler. At first I was like Oh cool, they stepped up the programming to be more efficient. But my in game fps took a nose dive. Easily 60+ on all max settings before, now stuttering badly and going down to 28-32 once a few enemies came onscreen and I casted spells.
I tried fixing options and lowering settings, especially Shadows. That helped alot, but I refused to play with anything other than max. Couldnt solve it. I simply exited the Beta and restarted it.
Boom. Everything back to normal. Max everything, 60+fps and flawless. My gpu went back to the normal temps and was being used correctly.
My guess -- something a little wacky with the programming. Possibly a gpu bug that doesnt initialize correctly. Just my experience tho, I didnt see or read that its true tho, just my own take on the issue.
Hello all , thanks for all the replies. Logged in to the beta today to see if yesterday's server maintenance would have helped , but it did not.
I guess we can conclude that either patch 15 has some kind of GPU related bug , or , the servers are basically crapping out due to the increasing number of people being invited into the beta.
edit: Will post his over on the actual beta feedback forums to see if anything comes up
I have seen no FPS issues, in any patch. Without capping it, its well over 250fps all the time. I have it capped at 120fps vsync, I use a 120hz screen. system: i7 920 @ 4.4ghz, gtx580 sli.

Update: My issue actually turned out to be screen tearing and not FPS :P.
I enabled vertical sync once again and it's now running back silky smooth.
Weird how it started doing this after patch 15 but hopefully solve other people's issues
To be honest with this patch i see less problems about fps dropping and stuttering, im sure these problem will be solved when the game is out.
This makes sense as to why I was getting screen tearing.. if the game is performing better , and I didn't have vertical sync on and better performance would have actually caused this problem.
I've plenty of FPS dropping/stuttering but have to say when I'm lucky my latency is 225ms (Italy)
Also I often get a weird graphical glitch (letters and numbers blink ine existence and suddenly vanish) I'm trying to report but it would be difficult in italian and almost impossible in english, and now I cannot post on official forums.
Taking a screenshot is impossible (happens too fast) and using Fraps seems to solve the problem.
Also fraps seems to reduce my FPS.
I myself can confirm this, running over 100+ fps easily before patch 15 , now having drops below 30 for some reason.
My specs are fine with a gtx 580 , 16GB ddr3 , i7 2600k.
Can anyone else confirm patch 15 being the culprit for them?
Thanks
The stutter is from the servers taking a dump.

They removed it, AFAIK.
