This build focuses more on team play, with emphasis on the Monk soaking a lot of hate while my team members wipe out the mobs. It includes a lot of damage, both for aggro and to help clean out the mobs, whether soloing or grouping, while the passive skills focus more on the defense of the character.
Looking at a sorc build focusing on as much CC as damage...
The idea is to be able to snare packs with blizzard then use the stun procs from electrocute to cleave and stun groups down. I'm not sure about Black Ice's interaction with Ray of Frost, and whether it will enhance the increase over time from channeling the spell.
Teleport provides mobility to reach the other side of the blizzard once mobs reach you.
At any rate, that's what I'm tentatively looking at working towards!
This build I feel is built around slows and AE damage, and while it could work solo, is more beneficial in a group setting to provide slows and crowd control. While I have not done an intense amount of research, would definitely be interesting at the least.
If I planned this correctly, this barbarian should be able to go toe-to-toe with large groups of enemies and mitigate damage received through life leeching and armor increasing skills. Life gained from Rend/Blood Lust, Revenge/Provocation, and Pound of Flesh will hopefully keep up with the damage sustained. Also, superstition and war cry/impunity will help with reducing damage taken.
Ideally this Barb would operate within a group composed of some glass cannon types who can stand behind him and really lay some hurt on the enemies while he keeps them distracted.
My worry with this build is that it lacks any movement skills. I wonder if I am letting my nostalgia factor too heavily into my inclusion of Call of the Ancients at the expense of something more tactically useful.

Just a casual/solo build. Focuses on balancing doing awesome damage from a long distance away with abilties that will help me stay a long distance away. Teleport that spawns clones, and all arcane damage will put a small slow on enemies. Since I took the 70% pierce chance on magic missile as well as celestial orb (arcane orb passes through enemies and keeps going) the slow should be up roughly all the time. Skilled use of teleport will be needed to ensure that I don't get surrounded since most of my damage output will be linear in nature. 450% weapon damage on arcane when turning into Archon will help to clean up weak things that have surrounded me and started to beat my squishy butt into the ground. Glass cannon and astral presence for damage and resource longevity respectively. Haven't really been following beta so dunno how effective it'll be.
This is a Demon Hunter spec mainly used to farm large numbers of mobs. Tried to make it as close to a Strafe/Multi-Shot Amazon from D2 with a summon to help protect you incase you ever need it.
Barbarian build; frenzy and life leach predominantly.
Ideally this build is designed to have enough life generation to survive without needing to pull in health globes very often. Decent at taking out bosses, but Leap Attack (which looks awesome) with WW to take out groups of mobs.
Having never played the Beta I have no idea how well this would all work... but it'd be fun trying.
This will be my PVE build for the witch doctor. The massive use of zombie dogs and animals will be crucial to letting my character get a ton of magic find, without losing survivability. I wont be able to take many hits, but i will be able to get out of sticky situations using my speed skill and my instant explode for my zombie dogs, as well as my zombie wall to cage additional enemies I don't want to deal with at the moment. This build should provide very good survivability without relying too heavily on my gear.
GOGO magic find!
I choose this build because of 2 specific objectives, Survivability & Sustainability. I think that early on I will basically need to stay alive. The last thing I want during an encounter is to run out of Arcane Power. While this build may not push out damage, I can eventually adapt this build as I progress thru the Inferno difficulty.
The build that I've created revolves around generating a ton of Fury using Cleave(Reaping Swing) and damage output by using very little of the generated Fury; Overpower(Killing Spree) and Revenge(Best Served Cold) both with increased crit % help Overpower reduce cooldown so it can be used for DPS.
Battle Rage(Into the Fray [increase fury generation]) and Wrath of the Berserker(Thrive on Chaos[Fury increases time duration]) are also included to further increase crit % to help Overpower.
Passives include Ruthless for 5% extra crit, Weapons Master (intended for use with mace/axe for 10% extra crit) and Animosity for increased Fury generation and increased Fury cap (intended for use with Weapon Throw)
All the Fury generated in this build is put towards Weapon Throw(Dread Bomb) which drains all the Fury in one shot to deal massive AoE damage.
This build is mainly focused on dealing with groups, while being able to toss a lot of damage and solo mobs (Bosses.) Bash with pulverize to deal with 1 mob and rebuild rage while also damaging all mobs behind the target. Leap attack to quickly jump to the center of the group and call of arreat to draw in the mobs for a tight group. Also took ground stop with wrenching smash to draw in and stun a group so earthquake with moutains call and whirlwind with blood funnel can be used to tear up the now tight group of mobs. I took revenge with retribution as another option of dealing with a single (boss) mob. Unforgiving was used as passive ability to maintain rage and always have the option for quick high rage skills. I plan on using a 2h axe/sword so ruthless and weapons master were picked up to increase the damage dealt.
I like this build as I will be leveling with other barbarians and its a way to deal a lot of damage to a lot of enemies at once.
In summary, this is an end-game (level 60) PvE barb build. The basic premise is all about critical hits, and fast fury generation to keep Wrath of the Berseker (with Thrive on Chaos rune) active, which would itself in turn give a higher chance to critical hit (cyclical lol). In traditional barb fashion, this build should also be able to serve as a tank thanks to leech from the Bloodthirst passive skill and possible life regen from Revenge. Battle Rage should be active as much as possible (basically constant) while the main attacks consist of Frenzy, Hammer of the Ancients, and Furious Charge.

Always looking for people to play with! Battletag (US server): AirRik#1555
This is a theme build based around a Witch Doctor using poison based skills. Using his abilities to cause his enemies a very painful death as well as being backed up by an array of poisonous pets and zombies.

A Monk build focused on maximizing damage taken by the enemies.
Also has a powerful finisherwith the Seven Sided Strike.
100% theoretical build, don't have access to beta yet but this is what I would imagine an ideal Witch Doctor spec to be in an everyday PvE spec.

This is my HealerMonk.
Lots of healing and protection for my friends. The life of a healer is hard, but someone has to do it...
