This is a build I would consider using r the demon hunter class. As it focuses on heavy AOE damage with some health regen involved. I prefer the method of kiting while shooting over cnontrol and stuns. Defensive skill includes smoke screen runed with a poison cloud to increase damage during an escape. This is the first of many build I will be trying out with the demon hunter class
Ironically I'm SAD to see so many DH posts.. I suppose I expected it, was hoping for a million Barbs running around to CC to death.. This build is guided towards tons of CC options, evade, speed, mixed with burst rapid fire damage, certainly won't be the most OP build out of the gate but I'm imagining a stunned, slowed melee crying as I pepper him to death..
This is my Zombie King Witch Doctor build. It concentrates on a lot of chaos and summoned creatures overwhelming mobs bit by bit. By the time mobs get to me, if they even do, they'll be so weak a Firebomb will finish them off quickly.
BARBARIAN build: http://us.battle.net...XhQk!bYg!ZbcbYa
Mainly PvE build, multiple enemy attack for low level.
As character grows up, crowd control skill take turns, attack more enemies at once.
Primary: Skill: Cleave (lvl 3)
Basic attack skill to build up fury, good for attacking multiple enemies. Rune: Reaping Swing (lvl 17)
As level increase, more fury gained is always better
Secondary: Skill: Rend (lvl 5)
Mob attack skill, attack all nearby enemy Rune: Lacerate (lvl 33)
Wished for knockback here, but i guess "90% auto attack" will do
Defensive: Skill: Ground Stomp (lvl 8)
Mob control skill, stun nearby enemies. Rune: Avalanche (lvl 47)
Finally, knockback for crowd control, though it comes at a very late level
Tactics: Skill: Furious Charge (lvl 21)
Attack multiple enemies in path. Rune: Stamina (lvl 44)
Generate fury while charging? Why not
Might: Skill: Whirlwind (lvl 26)
Need to explain? the best barbarian skill, whirlwind back and forth Rune: Eye of the Storm (lvl 54)
Later in the high level, refunded 1 fury for each enemy hit
Rage: Skill: Ancient Spear (lvl 28)
mainly for boss or single strong enemy, pull an enemy near. Rune: Grappling Hook (lvl 34)
pull up to 3 enemies.
Passive:
Nerves of Steel (lvl 12) - more armor the better
Weapon Master (lvl 13) - Ultimate barbarian skill, simply must have
Brawler (lvl 25) - more enemy, more damage
Possible DEMON HUNTER build: http://us.battle.net...ViRl!aeU!aZbZZa
Basic ranged attacker, with hit and run ideas.
Hit few single enemies in low level, crowd control in later level.
I am planning to start out with a barbarian with this build and see how it goes. The build looks fun and should have some very awsome burst damage and aoe damage! Heres to hopig I get to test it out. :Thumbs Up:
Disintigrate is the main attack spell with intensify for added damage
Arcane orb is for AoE with obliteration for added damage.
Magic weapon is just to boost damae with force weapon.
Teleport with wormhole is just for escaping and fun with wormhole. I love to teleport.
Famililiar is for the boost to arcane regeneration to support Disintigrate with Arcanot
Storm armor is for the reduced arcane power costs to support disintigrate with power of the storm.
Temporal flux helps keeps enemies at a distance.
Astral Pressence is to suport disintigrate from using all your arcane power.
Galvanizing ward is to give some added defense to an otherwise purely offensive character.
This by no means is going to be my main build, but seeing as it costs nothing to respec and change skills, where is all the PvP love!
My DH arena build. Nothing like killing PC instead of NPC
Primay: Entangling shot with heavy burden to give 4 seconds slow duration to maximize evaiding abilities.
Secondary: Impale with Impact. Decent damage, but consistantly reliable stun.
Defensive: Vault with Rattling roll. Offensive and Defensive. When its time to try and get a kill, vault in for stun+impale, back up and repeat.
Archery: Marked for Death with Valley of Death. 15 seconds is a long time, and getting in that extra damage for the whole group will be huge.
Devices: Grenades with Tinker will generate 8 hate because of passive grenadier. Good AoE dmg, and easy to kill PCs
Shadow: Preparation to save your life when you need another Vault! plus 60% health heal?!! awesome!
Passives: Steady aim+Archery for rly good stat buffs that will stack with Marked for Death. And Grenadier sounds awesome for PvP. Not that I'd ever die... but maybe as a trick just to blow everyone up for a ton of damge!
I know almost all the time playing D3 will be PvE, but gotta hope running around blowing up other people to change it up once in a while will be as fun as it sounds!
This build is meant for survival in end game. It takes advantage of a little bit of each survival trait (except dodge)
Leap attacks rune, warcry, nerves of steel, tough as nails, are all meant to increase my armor so that I can take as little damage as possible, ignore pain helps with that for tight spot situations.
Threatening shout is meant to reduce the damage they do so that i can survive more hits.
Frenzy provides some cc so i can focus on stunning targets that need to be interrupted.
revenge provides some life regeneration, along with warcry's rune effect.
I dont have a lot of rage usage so ignore pain might be substituted out for the stun version of seismic slam.
My lovely little barb build. I actually picked these skills and skill runes based on either what I liked about them or whether or not they sounded like good team compatibility skills. I know there are probably better options but this is what I thought I would enjoy most. That is all I did with my D2 chars, even though I knew where to find info on the best possible combinations I always played according to what I found most enjoyable. I'm not interested in the best, I'm interested in which build is most fun to play, for me. Making things blow up, fly across the screen, etc.
Lots of damage and a little crowd control and a utility spell. I think this is all I need to finish the game and try Nightmare. I intend to try the Mage as well as the Withc Doctor.
I thought a lot about what I was going to do when this game came out and the countless hours I spent playing D2. What class, what build, etc. I'm settling somewhere between Monk, Witch Doctor, and Barbarian right now but I think barbarian has a lot of potential and synergy within its skills.
Frenzy - Triumph
The build I'm trying is based around crit, and I wanted to increase the number of attacks per second to give a greater chance of landing a crit. Triumph adds an element of survivability and healing, but the rune is probably something I can interchange
Hammer of the Ancients - Birthright
This ability seemed to make the most sense with the rest of the build and as a theme, it seemed a lot of fun too. The rune is nothing more than me wanting to see my loot pinata's a little fatter.
Battle Rage - Into the Fray
This is where most of the crit comes into play, I'm not sure of the percentage chance for the rune, but given a decent chance it seems like if you can increase your crit you can just give yourself an insane amount of fury generation with a high attack speed. Would be the thing I used any time I had 20 fury available, making sure the buff never fell off
Wrath of the Berserker - Thrive on Chaos
With into the Fray on Battle Rage providing some quick Fury generation, the possibility to keep this going for a while seems like a good possibility. Build Fury off of frenzy, into the fray, and just keep wrath going for more than a few seconds beyond its actual duration, good for large groups of enemies or a boss probably.
Revenge - Best Served Cold
Counter-attack in a sense with a good healing mechanic. Rune gives an increased crit chance for 12 seconds which helps with the rest of the build
Overpower - Killing Spree
With high crit, good damage, no fury cost, and the ability to reset its cooldown on a crit, it seemed like one of the bread and butters to the build. You'd ramp up your crit chance and see if you could spam it a few times and start taking out enemies aroudn you. And if it doesn't crit, you still get another 10% increased crit chance to start getting more Fury.
Passives
Ruthless
Increased crit and crit damage...what else do I say?
Weapon Master
I see me using a giant 2h Mace or a giant 2h Axe with all the +attack speed increases. I havent had a chance to play the game so I'm not sure how effective Frenzy + Wrath of the Berserker would be with a 2h weapon, but I like the theme of swinging aroudn tons of crits with a giant 2h weapon. I'm sure both frenzy and this build would probably work better dual wielding though. Mace or Axe gives a 10% increased crit chance...so alone with this and Ruthless you've got a 15% increased crit chance, then 3% from Battle Rage, and Hammer of the Ancients gets another 15%...so before you even get gear you're already at a good chance to crit.
Tough As Nails
I think this passive is a little debateable, it doesn't really fit with the rest of the build but I didn't see how increased survivability would hurt at all. I thought about a lot of other ones too like Unforgiving, Inspiring Presence, Animosity...but I don't really see those actually helping a lot to where they're just really needed. I'd still probably switch this with Nerves of Steel or Superstition depending on the situation.
Simple Wizard build relying heavily on Disintegrate, using Wave of Force as it's first line of defense with Slow Time as an emergency. Should never really need it though in theory, only one way to test is to get a beta key!
PvP Demon Hunter. Designed for single target takedowns. Very similar to the way I play my Hunter in WoW PvP. Destroy the squishy guys in burst quick damage.
The idea behind this wizard build is to cast large ap sinks like meteor and blizzard often and increasing their damage even more. this is just one of many builds I can't wait to try.
I took Frenzy for the damage and high attack. Together with the Maniac rune this should give increased attacks. My secondary mouse skill is Hammer of ancients with Smash. This increases the crit chance for strong damage as well.
Next on defensive I selected Battle Rage with Into the Fray due to the combined attack speed and crit chance. Furious charge with Stamina rune also gives excellent fury and damage.
For might, I like Revenge with the Best Served Cold rune for the buff effect and finally Wrath of the Berserker with Thrive on Chaos rune to keep up wotb! I picked the passive skills for additional damage and survivability

For what its worth I choose a templar as my companion and that again is because I found that to be the most enjoyable one of the three.
Thanks for the opportunity DiabloFans.com.
