this is my barb build. built for solo barb work for normal/nightmare.
Skills:
frenzy and hammer of the ancients for single target and AE damage
ground stomp and over power for OH S**T buttons and additional damage
call of the ancients for assistance in a bind
and, finally, wrath of the berserker for rare/bosses
Passives:
weapon master and ruthless for additional all time increase in DPS
animosity to keep hammer of the ancients rollin'!
Generalized build within the witch doctor talents that takes the hp regen on cast or the mana regen on cast on all of the spells excluding the grasp of the dead, and gargantuan for the much needed survivability. Cookie cutter passives with the best three; Pierce the Veil, Grave Injustice and Spirit Vessel for obvious reasons. Ideally this build is the best suited for PvE with the massive sustain, and kite-ability of the spells.
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#QZUhka!bYg!baaZYc
This is a general PvE build, which focuses on speed and healing. I tried to get a large about of dashing and movement abilities to help keep the Monk "Flying" around, and a few healing/shielding abilities to keep him up. I also threw in an ally to have as a meat shield (= more protection). With this build, the monk still does good amounts of damage, while staying fast and staying alive.
This is my planned build for all-around safety and a really good balance of offense vs defense.
With a 30k Diamond Skin shield and Obliteration Arcane Orb, things will die fast and if anything happens I can pop my Diamond Skin and use Wave of Force and runed it can proc a 2nd wave if I'm overwhelmed. I can also Teleport away which spawns 2 Mirror Images also.
Crippling wave for a short dmg reduction.
Way of the hundred fists for a stacking attack and movement speed.
Dashing strike for a a nice get a way, and its just a really useful skill to have i think.
Mantra of healing for contant healing
All that and everything else in my build is because i think they are fun skills to use =)
Looking forward to actually trying them out!
The build uses Fist of Thunder for the fastest spirit generation. Dashing Strike , Cyclone Strike, and Tempest Rush are gap closers perfect for staying on those ranged classes, Seven Sided Strike for dealing out heavy damage. The rune with Fist of Thunder allows for more spirit generation, coupled with the runes that lower spirit cost on the Dashing Strike, Cyclone Strike, and Tempest Rush there shouldn't be a time where i'm not beside my victim. Mantra of Evasion grants me dodge with the movespeed rune, along with the passive skills The Guardian's Path and Sixth Sense for even more dodge to give me extra time to kill my targets. Last but not least One With Everything because we all want resistances
Here's a straight up cold damage Wizard with crowd control and individual killer skills. This one will be my main, for sure, if it works out as well as I believe it will. We'll see.
There would be changes I'd have to do from time to time of course. I'd plan on switching to Magic Missile on boss fights (unless they're very Arcane resistant of course) and can always switch out the Temporal Flux passive with Arcane Dynamo for more BOOM-tastic moments.
I made this while focusing on Demon Hunter PVE build.
I've used my mouse buttons to focus on hatred build. The left button is my normal hatred farm shot, and my right button is the escape shot button.
My number one and two is my single and multi target dps shots, my 3rd ability is my sentry, to help me if I am overwhelmed, and my companion button is number 4.
I chose my passive skills and my skill runes by what I thought I would handle best in most situations.
This is my ignant build. I have no idea what end-game will be like and I suck at theorycrafting. That's why I come to these sites!
This build seems OK though because of the defensive cooldowns and runes I selected. Teleport leaves a mirror image, Illusionist grants a reset cd on Teleport, Ice Armor rune allows a chance at Frost Nova proccing. Offensive abilities have some slows in them so hopefully I can score a nice weapon and dish the damage out!
The basic premise behind this monk is the increased chance to dodge fists of thunder gives when runed with lightning flash combo'd with mantra of evasion and backlash. Cyclone strike's wall of wind also adds in some dodge chance, as does sixth sense and dual wielding guardian's path.
While building spirit with fists of thunder, you have a natural 46% chance to dodge, not including bonus from sixth sense. After using cyclone strike, you add another 20% chance to dodge for 3 seconds and can reapply mantra of evasion for another 15% on top of that.
Assuming all of the percents add to a main dodge value, that's potentially a 1/5 hit rate.
Lashing tail and seven sided strike keep up the damage and inner sanctuary is there in case you or your party needs to heal up from unlucky hits.
This build is a PvE Barbarian build i will be trying. it has exploding Cleave and Seismic Slam for AoE grindfest, with plenty or gap closers such as Leap Attack(runed to drag mobs in) and Ancient spear(runed to drag multiple mobs). Picked up Wrath of the Berserker because of its massive amounts of stat increase, i mean who wouldn't want dodge/movement speed/crit/atk speed/runed for dmg all in one button click. Definitively had to get ignore pain runed for more duration for those later difficulties that will start womping you. for Passive abilities i grabbed Bloodthirst for the constant leech and Tough as Nails for a little bit of armor and dmg in the same passive. Finally i grabbed No escape to make sure i constantly could have a gas closer up to keep the exp coming, whether it be leap atk being up or just having anceint spear crits let me spam drags all day.
This build is designed to do almost completely frost damage while keeping enemies at range. It's only downside would really be frost resistant enemies, but it still allows for some arcane damage in those situations (hopefully rare).
Active Abilities
Ray of Frost (Cold Blood) - Chosen a main damage dealer, and runed to cost 0 arcane power. If I'm low on arcane power, this skill would be used to allow it to regen before using other spells.
Frost Nova (Bone Chill) - Used for crowd control, and runed to give a damage boost against enemies frozen or chilled by it's effect, setting up other spells
Blizzard (Frozen Solid) - One of two AoE high damage spells in this build, but also functions as crowd control because of the rune that allows enemies to be frozen solid.
Meteor (Comet) - High damage AoE spell, again functions as cc like blizzard, but with a higher initial damage component
Mirror Image (Mirror Mimics) - Used as a defensive spell mostly, and runed to help with a little extra damage
Ice Armor (Chilling Aura) - Ice armor for protection, with a rune that makes sure enemies near me will be chilled
Passive Abilities
Glass Cannon - With all the chilling/freezing cc, glass cannon makes sense, since I shouldn't be getting hit as much with this build.
Astral Presence - Used to increase passive regen of arcane power, since there isn't any active regen in this build. Also allows for meteor and blizzard one after the other for extra damage against a single target.
Black Ice - Significantly boosts damage as most enemies will be chilled/frozen with the other abilities in this list.
Here is my build for my barbarian
I picked frenzy because I had an frenzy barb in d2 and kinda just picked what worked in d2
and added on all the great things they have to customize your character
As you can see this is just alot of solid skills that is going scale well with your items
and make you an unstoppable force.
Take a look here is the build in depth
Frenzy for a fury builder and single target damage.
Leap for mobility and stunning groups pre aoe + fury
Battle rage then WW as your big fury spenders for big aoe burst
Revenge after leap stun wears off for bonus aoe
Call of the ancients for some extra dps that can suit single target as well as aoe (and look sweet hopefully :P)
WW health funnel rune and Bloodthirst passive should ensure good health returns
Other runes and passives are all cooldown reductions/duration extenders or straight up dps bonuses
Im probably going to play a Wiz or WD first but i just can't picture a build for them as fast or precisely as my first barb build.
i like the barbs play stile the best. Go straight in and hit with big weapons. cant wait to try it out
also if anyone got any pointers that would be sweet
I went for the Spectral Blade/Arcane orb left-right mouse set up, So I'm able to melee if desired or blast enemies with an arcane orb.
Action Bar Skills:
Defense - Storm Armor: To absord melee and ranged attacks while offering some offensive attributes at the same time.
Arcane - Meteor: I went for this spell mainly for its (small) AOE bonuses. While also smashing through enemies.
Conjuration - Familiar: I specced into the Familiar to offer a little more offensive, espeically towards enemies in close range.
Mastery - Explosive Blast: A fail safe AOE to take care of any close surrounding enemies at hand.
Passive Skills:
Temporal Flux: To slow down enemies by 30% while blasting Arcane Orb.
Power Hungry: Mainly to keep my Arcane power topped up while healing to make sure I'm able to keep spamming enemies.
Unstable Anomaly: A fall back AOE just incase I'm down to 20% health
This is my monk build for pve
I tried to get a good mix of damage, damage reduction and spirit regen.

Hungering arrow for hatred generation, vault if things get crazy, and rockets for the rest! I definitely can't wait to test this one out.
