So what if Blizzard said well this game just went in the wrong direction in 2008 so were going to scrap 4 years of progress to get this done right! Then they guranteed the greatest game ever in 2016, and delayed it 3 more times till 2019, you would be totally fine with that? Worlds gonna end and we may not get to even play this game for 6 months!
They simply have no reason to do that since they already implemented major features about the game.They can delay the game all they want no matter if you like it or not(clearly you don't know how and why they are #1 in the world because quality matters to them). They are pushing the game up to release it in Q2, they could have just said F*** you and kept working on useless features.
Blizzard always has good polish on their games, Starcraft 2 is a testament to it. These days dev teams are selling out left and right releasing unfinished crap games. For example, look at EA in the past, it was disastrous how much they were milking their consumers.
Rockstar and Blizzard, both are pinnacle of the gaming industry. And both have in common the long development times. But its uncalled for and childish for getting bashed and being called moron for voicing your opinion this way. So much frustration and impatience... we are all interested in Diablo 3 otherwise we'd have no business being here on this community forum.

They are still doing it..look at SWTOR, I freaking loved that game till about level 40...then it just got boring as hell, at level 50, hardly any end game content, and they handed gear out left and right so in less then a week, you can be fully decked out...yay? after level 50, there is no advancing storyline like the game promised just PVP and a few "heroics" if you even want to call them that on instances you've already done.
It wasn't delayed till Q2 in January...it was never set for Q1...just early this year...which is still early Q2.
Q2 being early in the year is at best a bit of a stretch of the meaning of the word early.

As much as I want it to be in the Summer, they haven't even announced the Beta yet, only thing we know is that Annual pass members get instant access to the beta so they can further complain and how the game sucks, and they wasted there money..blah blah blah.
As for Diablo 3, Molster is right Early/Mid/Late, if they announce the release date in the next 2 weeks, it will still be out by the end of April, that is still early in my eyes, they could have said...hey guys, sorry it's been delayed again but don't worry it will be out "SOON" (Suck On Our Nuts)

I'm just happy we're even getting the game this year, guys. Only several months away and i believe Blizzard isn't joking about releasing Diablo 3 in Q2 this time around. I remember being happy to receive news about if Diablo 3 was going to have those little bugs you squash and now we know the time period when we'll get the game. Stop complaining. I've been waiting since the beginging, since the Diablo 3 announcement on 2008 at Worldwide Invitational.
I can see that. But I have been around the block a time or two when dealing with what blizzard says, and one thing remains constant. People who disect every word they say looking for deeper meanings always overthink the issue. This isnt the Da vinci code, there are no hidden meanings. Sometimes things are just what they are, poorly chosen words.

4 weeks from now, we'll get an "update" from Jay Wilson that will say something like "We're pushing hard, finalizing some major game systems, trimming out things that aren't working, and making the game as awesome as possible. We'll have and update for you involving runes and skills in the coming weeks. Stay tuned, this is the home stretch!"

Then a push back to Q3.
Then I'll be playing GW2 because Diablo 3 is never coming out.

I'd rather have a polished game later in the year than one full of bugs/balancing issues now. I was trying to hold onto SWTOR until D3 got released but I couldn't deal with the lack of content @ 50 and the imbalance of pvp - unsubbed. Give me quality over rushed beta-stage software any day of the year.

Ya, this is what has me in a terrible mood with them. Look at FFxiv, worst launch of all time, ALL TIME! Yet, they still have my attention coming this fall because the producer has been completely open about the process and has provided constant updates, even on setbacks.
Having Bashtok troll the community is not the same. It leaves a feeling like there is something going on behind the scenes that is sinister or at least hidden from the public due to financial gain reasons. Like you said, it just feels like we are being lied to time after time with D3.
Im in beta, and I can tell you that I have canceled my pre-orders for D3. I might come back to the game if things dont keep getting chopped all the while the release date being pushed back time and time again. I could understand delays, if things were being added, but things are constantly being cut from the game, so I have no understanding of what the hell is going on other than conspiracy theory's.

as ive said before, im a newbie, i live with a proper fan, and she is becoming less interested everyday ( she will still buy it)
BUT they did kinda screw us a bit, they said that the runes and skills were holding them back, oh before that they said it was polishing
but if the runes and skills are almost done, why be all coy on the matter now
bashiok came out and said that the runes and skills were in the game, but now there is no talk about it
as i have said, we will have to wait for jay, but im getting the feeling that they dont care about feed back (im talking about blizz not the D3 team) will not care if their coustomers are upset, they are not threating us like coustomers anymore, they are taking us for granted and assume we will fall in line evrytime
this is my opionion and i will be buying the game, but blizz need a better way of communicating with their coustomers, bashiok does a fine job but they need to talk to us and not threat us like children

Why is everyone freaking out? This is good news release date in the next "few coming weeks", meaning 2-3 weeks and you don't give a release date 4 months prior to the release. The game will be out in april right when all you 14 week semester kids are finishing exams and me being in an 18 week semester will fail all my exams playing this amazing game. My guess april 26th end of the month people can blow some of their welfare on it hehe. NO ONE releases games in june it's just silly plus they were pretty sure they could still hit Q1 and we have conclusive evidence that the game is nearly finished.
