I'm guessing they delay it to the end of the 2nd Quarter. Would love to be wrong though!

I think (and certainly hope) that they'll have an announcement for us the week of the call. The stress test is a good sign in my book. They may have another wave or two, perhaps prep an EU server and send out a wave of EU keys, and then we'll have the final product in our hands.

I think the release date will be announced before then. If this is NOT the case, then d3 will be officially delayed once again. I say this because Q1 ends Mar 31 and Blizzard likes to announce launch dates 2 months before.

The giant amount of QQ threads is because of the 100k beta keys =P 99% haven't been following D3, nor have they any idea what's in the game for the most part. So when that small number of whiners get into beta, all the shit we heard in 2008 pops up again.

Let all buy shares in activision blizzard, and become a large part of the shareholders, and then be all like "yo blizz, release this biatch or imma investin in knee armor futures from now on..."

edit*: OT: I feel a release date is nigh. They only polish for so long until it starts affecting profits.

Lol yea this will probably be it. They've been saying this for 6 months.

I'm holding fast to my theory that the call will announce a further decline in WoW subscriptions. And, to mitigate shareholder grumbling, they'll announce a D3 release date a few days prior to the conference call.

The call will revolve mostly on the announcement of Fritos chips now available in the vending machine at the home office.

Yes to bring some hype back because the game is getting ready for release. Otherwise what is the point to create hype and redo the massive shitstorm that was end of 2011 after beta started while game was delayed ? If they create hype now they wont do this mistake twice of letting it drag for months without infos.

For me thiss and the ebalance thing are two major clues that the announcement may be coming. Next week feel a little early but I don't see them announcing it just AFTER the conference. So...
