I was reading through some of the Book of Cain and I wondered to myself whether or not we would eventually fight in the High Heavens. I think it would be cool to have a reason to fight with or against Tyrael, Imperius or another warrior angel for whatever reason. I'm not sure if you guys have discussed this already, but does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on this?

Some people tell me I'm going to hell. I just let them know that I've already packed my bags!
well thay said player will have to make some important choice but I dont think it will be this big. Imperius will be one of bosses, I am sure, but other angels are not hostile to humanity, especially angel of hope (cant remebember the name) so it would be irrational to fight them.
Yeah Imperius does have a chip on his shoulder. It would be very interesting to fight through the high heavens, Whether or not you're fighting demons or angels. Like if there was a breach through the Diamond Gates or if you had to fight an angel for whatever reason. The imagery in the book made me think about what the Blizzard artists would render a High Heavens area as.

Well in the Sin War Trilogy they all hate humans besides Auriel the Angel of Hope, even Tyrael hated humans and even called them abominations. Then after the ending battle with Inarius and his inquisitor guards Heaven invades and so does hell. Uldyssian displays an immense amount of power brought on by himself that sends both the demons and angels back to their respective places then his power gets out of hand and he has to unleash his power in a void and kill himself in the process. After this occurs the Angiris council decides Humans should have their memories wiped and let them start anew as nephalem or edyrem whichever you wanna call them. In this process Mathail Tyrael and Auriel all vote for allowing humans to begin anew while Imperius votes against humanity and the remaining angel votes neither way. Then from no where Mephisto comes and decides to make a pact with the angels that will allow the nephalem to grow normally and recognize their own powers, this will then let them decide their own fate and who they side with in the eternal conflict, so long as they don't break the pact that is.
So in conclusion yes we might just have to fight angels if the Angiris council deems Edyrem an evil abomination like they originally thought, or they could side with us and fight with us against the burning legions of hell.Either way some bad ass shit is going to go down and in the end I believe we will see the fall of sanctuary or the fall of either the burning hells or the high heavens.

Actually, i made this thread with only reading some of the book and I've avoided reading any spoilers. I can't say that you upset me, but I didn't ask you for any spoilers. Next time when someone asks you for "thoughts and opinions," you can leave the spoilers out of it.
I thought about putting a no spoiler disclaimer when posting this, but oh well. I really just wanted to theorycraft angel fights and talk about it. I thought the High Heavens would be an awesome place to visit, that's all.

No, it wouldn't be a lie, but I'm going to refrain from restating the obvious. I'm thinking of just deleting this thread now.

The problem with that though is the fact that you stated datamined info. Many people want to stay out of the loop on any spoilers from datamining. So next time think about what other people consider a spoiler and either warn them before saying it, or put it in spoiler tags.
But on topic, we've been everywhere except the High Heavens so with Diablo 3 being the last in the trilogy(Besides expansions), I think it is safe to say we will be going to heaven.
