I'm not to sure there is going to be any new Kanai cube recipe, the new patch notes released yesterday are no longer showing any mention of it at all. It would be awesome though if it was implemented.
Is there a new datamine out as well? That is where the information was.
I don't know if there's been any new data mine, but we should take data mined info with a grain of salt anyways. That recipe that was data mined may be the one Wyatt said was pulled for all we know.
I hope not, I think would be great if we could put powers on different items.

Well, if it was, than the Dev crew is more stupid than we thought. Because "infusion" relates to absolutely NOTHING that he talked about with that Cubed power.
The bottom line is that they said they want to add a lot more cube recipes, so I expect to get several in 2017. Potentially a game breaker as well.
I don't really remember what he talked about at Blizzcon, trying to forget it even happened . Wasn't the the cube recipe something like remove the power from the cube and putting it back on the item. That would fall under "infusion" by my meaning of the word. I hope it's not, because I really like the idea of adding one items power to another. It would open huge build options, especially if you could also add them to set items.

Where did they say it? I heard nothing.
"Maybe" is not gonna work here. Maybe we will get a Necromancer somewhere in 2017. Maybe an expansion in 2019. Maybe diablo 4 in 2021. Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.
The patch contains nothing significant. Doesn't look like there will be more changes if they put out a second ptr patch and all they changed was bug fixes and minor balancing. Every time it's the same bullshit... People see the first ptr patch and be like "don't worry, they will put out more, it's just the first iteration". And then they don't put out anything and that's all we get. It's garbage.
I've been saying this for a while but D3 is amazing for casuals and the devs understand that. Nobody gives a crap about your end game viable sets, face it.

Then watch all the interviews again, because you are clearly being selective.
You WANT TO HEAR that this game is dead, so you are doing whatever you can to make sure that happens.
I'm not confused at all, after watching the video again, I'm even more convinced that the data mined Kanai recipe has been scrapped. Infuse Legendary power is just a cooler way of saying Reconstitute. There is no new recipe coming, at least in this patch. Maybe in the next, I have no idea, and neither does anyone else posting on here for that matter. I hope they do though.
Aren't we just waiting desperatly for a release of either lost ark or lineage eternal? If blizz won't come out with D4 mmo these two will cleanup the market... who cares about a patch here and there face it: d3 has major flaws that have nothing to do with item balancing or that sort.
Nope, I still love D3 and I will simply wait for them to keep adding content.
If you do not like it, move along, and I hope you enjoy any other game you play

At some point you need to just move on man.
I am not so sure you guys understood correctly what Wyatt said:

they wanted to make a recipe that would allow you to RECONSTITUTE item back from the power. Not to infuse some item with different power.
