They look incredible! Some of them do have a wow ish feel, just because of the huge shoulders and ridiculous proportions. But I cannot wait to play the WD and get all of those sets together.
I don't know... are these mock ups or the real in-game look? I'm confused because in another post on battle net they were saying these weren't the real thing. I was sort of expecting the tiers to have a higher quality texture or something (see character pages such as this - http://us.battle.net/d3/en/class/barbarian/, animated barb beside the lore that has a nice deal of lustre and sharp detail) That tier 17 Barb armour looks like something you'd see on archlord :/ jus' sayin <_<
As a side question - One of the pics is a DH with blue/silver armor, with the helm having 2 tusks. Is this a set? Because it sure isn't a tier from what I've seen! And it looks sweet
Yep, these are from the CSharp d3 emulator project, they were able to get to char creation screen, a bit of editing and they can substitute any armor into those lv1 char. At least those are the armors that is currently inside beta game code
Edit: Because of that, some might not be in an actual set but rather put together to make a ridiculous look

Yea I don't think these are at all finalized. For example we saw the WD 'tentacles' armor set at BlizzCon, and the tendrils looked black and more snake-like, as opposed to the weird green they show in these pictures. Theres also a few sets with absurd amounts of clipping going on, although I guess thats a possibility even on finalized sets. Overall, the textures and such just don't look like they're done.
Seeing as a lot of the datamined stuff that was revealed early on during the beta ended up seeming like it was from a build or two ago when compared to the skill calculator, I wouldn't be surprised if these armor sets are also from a similar amount of time ago.
Guyz chill your brains please. This is unfinished work and content forced out of the Client before it was ready to be made public. We just posted these pics to give you a first taste of the armors and weapons we found. There are still countless items and most of all the graphics shown in the pics are with no Antialising or any other graphic improvements latest games provide. It may be the reason they are in the beta in the first place: to be tested later. All we know they may never be implemented, be greatly modified or changed. This is a beta for testing purposes. Remember that.
This is true, the fact that the beta has no anti-aliasing or ultra high graphics settings yet. Yeh, graphics aren't everything in a game, but it puts my mind at ease.
Just another small observation, I don't know if any of you guys have noticed. See these two armor sets below? Apart from looking awesome with their cat eyes or whatever, where have you seen this before? Look at those eyes, then look at a scroll of companion. Link below. Notice the icon for SoC. Is this a coincidence, or are you guys thinking what I'm thinking? Higher tiers might have their own inbuilt attributes ( in this case, permanent companion or some varying effects toward using a scroll?) I dunno.. thoughts?
I'm not against changes, but the realism of the items is horrible. Colorful, huge, disproportionate. They look like children's Korean MMO games. Before anyone says that the graphics are fake or changed, watch these images that I did with the list of icons. Great job, Blizzard. NOT.

What are you complaining about? what did you expect from a VIDEO game set in a FICTIONAL world filled with metal and MAGIC. Are you kidding me? Would you rather everyone wear dull looking armor, and have the artwork the same for every tier, even if it's the best weapon?
