Since people seem to be trying I'll take my turn at guessing the effects of the weapons as well. :]
1. Basic, no effect
2. Frost damage
3. Fire damage
4. Poison damage
5. Arcane damage
6. Looks a bit like Damage vs Undead, if there even is such a bonus. Looks like withering.
7. Life leech
8. Resource leech
9. Gold find
10. Lightning damage
11. These storm effects look like nothing that comes to mind
12. Runes could be protective... which points to not having an idea. Armor bonus? Most likely Holy damage
13. Another effect I've no clue about. Looks chaotic and powerful
The gold find could very easily be holy damage, but the sparkles look more like glittering coins.
Hm. This would be easier if I go check some weapon effect databases. Brb.
Edit: Well, it looks like there are 9 enchancements for weapons - Brutality, Gore, Scorching, Frost, Blight, Cosmos, Celerity, Oracle, Devouring. Odd that there are more effects in the video than there are in the files.
They all look very good, but I don't really like the one with the floating runes (@ 1:14). Aside from that, I really like them.
And I don't even care if the Mongoose effect (which I don't even know about since I don't play WoW) is from WoW: it looks cool and I want it to stay. I don't even know why anyone would complain about this. I guess some people will complain about the fact that it seems like it was copied and pasted into D3, but do you really think Blizzard wants to go through the trouble of making another effect when they have one already made in a different department?
That's my two cents on it. I'm even more excited now.

I hate the way you cling to ignorance and pass it off as innocence
In the video description you can see where he states that these are all emulated effects, so some might appear more intense than in-game.
From some of the weapon datamined icons we've seen the effects scale with what type weapon it's on, and they look nice.
I've also seen a holy-enchanted item (the one with the floating runes) being used in a beta stream: it looks great AND has a special disintegration effect when killing Undead-type monsters!

The final test of the Serpent's Form takes place in "The Pit of 12 Vipers." The initiates are not told about the 13th.

That's pretty sweet... I'm really excited to see all this on the real tip.
