What classes/builds do you think will make the best combination?
I am thinking a summon WD with a monk and barb (they will each have their buffs) and then a Wizard with all damage attacks (pets and barb/monk will be doing all the tanking)
Our group will have a Barb, a WD, a DH (me), and lastly a Monk or a Wizzard (because my friend didn't decide yet).
But I doubt there will be a "best combination". Maybe a tanking Monk/Barb and 3 other ranged.
1(2) Monk(s)
Reason: Mantra buff. Great healing/protection skills for tough areas that are amazing once runed. Monks do a lot of damage.
1 Barbarian
Reason: Shout buffs. Ability to take a lot of damage if needed for harder areas. Barbarians do a lot of damage.
1(2) Wizard(s)
Reason: (One will) Focus on frost damage, freezing everything for itself and the melee. Wizards do a lot of damage.
If 2 Mantras from 2 Monks can be active, which I am almost positive they can be, then 2 Monks will be used with 1 Wizard. If you insist on having more ranged damage, you can either take two Wizards with one Monk or one Wizard with:
(1) DH
Reason: With a high attack speed there's potential for nice single-target damage.
I think this compiles a great all-around team, able to tackle everything from Normal to Inferno. Frozen targets are easier for the melee to smash and for the monks to get combos off of, the party is under lots of buffs, a tank is there if needed, mobility is there, CC is there, and damage is there: both AoE and single-target.
It's not that I don't like the WD, but to me it really can't compete -- at least, given what we've seen thus far -- with the other classes when creating the "best" group.

The final test of the Serpent's Form takes place in "The Pit of 12 Vipers." The initiates are not told about the 13th.

Just so you can have 1 more friend playing with you
Looks like we're going to have a lot of wizards for launch, that should be interesting.

I'm rolling a DH, with a Barb and Monk. They can beat on stuff and take all the damage while i make it rain.

+3 friends with whatever class they end up choosing. Doesnt matter to me, especially in the early stages of the game.
