I'll be a little sad if disintegrate is that op for most of the game, because I REALLY like it as a skill, and I REALLY wanted to make a wiz specced around it. But if everyone has one, I won't feel so special
Man this clip has actually made me reconsider Monk... Wizard looks so much fun... and I played sorc in D2. Damn I was trying hard not to go caster once again.

The AP cost on Disintegrate will most likely be increased at some point, because by the look of things in this video you can spam it for a very long time.
Even me, who plans to play a wizard, would admit that this is a little ridiculous. Higher level wizard is gonna be so beast tho <3

Playing a Wizard. Looking for Demon Hunters to play with.
I see what you're trying to say. I think that when most people played through they got to level 10 when they beat the skeleton king. So obviously if you stay in the same area and just level up then you're going to be OP in that area.
Indeed, not much to say here since its really nothing special... all the classes can do this when they have out leveled the content by more then a few levels.
I am wondering what's the point of resource systems when resource never ends?
either consume specialization skill slots or item variables, aka specialization and play style difference.
It's easy to look at low level regeneration and crappy low level skills and say you never run out of resource (particularly with arcane power/mana) and say it's infinite, but that's just how low level characters are in blizzard games these days. It's easy to keep mediocre players interested.

Blizzard have stated that this is just a low level thing, as you level up the skills will consume a lot more resources and you will have to play smart to balance it.
right now something interesting is going on with resources, at least for wizard. If I'm not mistaken, multiple wizard tooltips show resource cost can be reduced by 1 per level. So a skill that costs 15 can't possibly follow that logic (beyond the beta lvl 13 limit) and give you arcane power for using it...
Not sure what the reasoning for that in the beta is.
There are 60 levels, and as Blizzard has said they want every level to feel like a meaningful increase in power. This just shows what that means. This is what it looks like when someone has outgrown the content. It's kind of cool because it shows that likely every skill will destroy face and be useful once you are strong enough, leading to more viable builds.

It won't be. The content during the beta already looks easy for people who are appropriate levels, so seeing as he's going through this stuff 3 or 4 levels higher than he would be, and has probably gotten plenty of items from killing Leoric over and over, its going to be even easier. I don't think I've even really seen a video where anyone dies except for people who stray away from their group during multiplayer games.
If you're playing against mobs that are meant for your level/available skills, sacrificing movement for disintegrate will actually be a decision instead of how it works in this video. I'm sure if you wa
