wouldn't it be cool if you didnt have to keep facing the same monsters in different diffuculties? instead you fight an evolved form of their predecessors. as your armor progresses visually so do the monsters in the world. and i don't mean like act 4 mobs on normal move to act 1 nightmare. i mean like act 1 nightmare is the same type of mob from normal but evolved in armor, weapon, spells, tactics, and maybe some radicaly physicals changes also like extra arms, bigger claws, or instead of fur they now have a flamin mane.
The concept is great, but I don't see it happening.
I think it would be cool if the environments got darker and more foreboding as the difficulty increases as well.
Act 1 Normal: Dead trees, dead grass, dead everything.
Act 1 Inferno: Burnt and smoldering foliage, ashes instead of grass, Hell has undoubtedly invaded.
Is there any reason to believe they have not made unique monsters throughout the game? I know there's the "unlikely" argument, but have we in any screenshots seen multiple levels of the same model?
