^ well said. I do suppose a positive outlook is the best policy, and I do realize the politics of remaining largely pro-Blizzard so that there is no animosity in terms of not getting invited to press events and such. This is how the world works. But I really did notice some key wording in the formation of news posts that gave announcements a definite positive spin, almost praiseworthy, without any real cause. I mean if you're not going to stick a negative opinion into the news, which is proper, then don't stick a positive opinion in there as well. You don't KNOW if their "brilliant solution" is actually brilliant, rather only that it is their solution, period. It's just something small that I found irritating while reading, especially while feeling a bit annoyed by the direction their games have gone in.
The RMAH is troubling to me, as a side note to what Azjenco said above, simply because of a trend. In a huge universe of WoW players and servers, all the basic services to play with friends or make changes to your character are paid services which cost Blizzard ABSOLUTELY NOTHING since they are automated services, like changing your name, your server, etc... and for some of those, a financial cost helps deter stuff like name changes every day or whatever but the TREND is what bothers me, and I see the trend manifesting in decisions like the RM-AH and so forth. Blizzard will most definitely be selling vanity, "for display only" items in the AH under special Blizz auctions for real money, so you can buy a special hat or whatnot for a few dollars. And even an editorial by a staff discussing the pros and cons of the system with real commentary on what the dangers of entering this slippery slope are would be a refreshing perspective to the largely "We love every decision Blizzard makes" attitude that seems to pour out of every new announcement. Positivity is great and required, but some measure of "Okay, how does this really affect us, let's talk about it" is needed.
Well, they arent afraid to show their opinions, even if it means no invite to Blizz events. But I agree with you. diablofans.com is fanboi base, diablo.incgamers is blizzard hater base.
I'm gonna have to check out this incgamers site. :-)
I just want to comment on our news VS their news a little.
I know it seems like sometimes our news is a little slow coming out, but it's not because we don't get it around the same time or before they do. Our news team scours the all of the info to validate, write it up, and hopefully make for a more interesting read, even if sometimes it takes an hour more.
We had to make a decision on quality VS quantity and though it's a difficult one we'd rather present you with something we're proud of and hopefully you all thoroughly. We also try not to cover rumors until they're fact checked, like leaks etc, we'd hate to post something up and it be completely unreliable and let you guys down. We never want to do that.
Anyways, that's the plan Stan.
Your articles are much better written and enjoying then Inc's

I registered there today after reading about them in this thread
But didn't get the fox news comment. Not everyone on the internet is a liberal.
Besides, I don't watch tv because 1)American cartoons suck donkey nuts, and 2)I hate pop, rap/hip hop culture, propaganda, behavior modification shows for kiddies, boring & depressing updates on the go and much, much more.
If I watch tv at all I'll watch discovery or the history channel, but even those are getting crapped on (history especially) with paranormal bullsht etc.
