Okay, that is the first time I have seen the arcane resource in motion and DAMN is that slick looking. Kinda odd that the build taken to Gamescom still had the talisman
I literally had absolutely no idea that there was a video player in existence that sucked as bad as that one. I even let the thing buffer completely and it was practically screenshots because of the almost 5 second lag in between frames. It was utterly ridiculous, and I had just finished watching several videos on youtube for the new Resident Evil game, so don't give me any crap about my computer or whatever, because it's a decent comp and I have excellent internet connection.
Yeah the video player is stupid. It pauses to "buffer" every .5 seconds from the outset even when the buffer bar clearly shows me having 3/4 of the video loaded almost instantly.
I'm on goddamn FIOS, it's not my internet.
I like the footage though, anything that shows off the UI is sexy.
we are all quite familiar with what the catacombs and monastery levels and such looked like in D2.
Here is a video I haven't seen on this site yet, of characters running through the "Torture Chambers of the Mad King"
Watch, enjoy, and imagine what running through the monastery would be like if it looked like this. http://www.videogamer.com/videos/diablo_iii_gamescom_2011.html
This is an old video because the Talisman is still there & the Demon Hunter resource UI is still the old one as well... it should have the Hatred & Discipline globe there by now.
So, nothing new to see there because that is not footage taken from GamesCon at all.
You've been had.

I beg to differ. The build present at Gamescom is the 2010 Blizzcon build.
The video IS new. It just doesn't have the new stuff.
And it sure is nice to see the UI in a video, and the actual graphical fluidity of the game.
Edit : typo
