Would've been interesting to see a turn-based Diablo1 too... right? Brevik's idea is barely a game. Don't fill in the blanks, you'll only break your heart over nothing.
First off - there's like 99,9% that this will never happen. Secondly, what David said isn't even very impressive - you could say the same about a lot of MMO games.
But there is one main problem with that kind of games (for some people for sure + myself) that they aren't set in diablo universe.
I try PoE for example and it was ok but problem as above.
I don't want to said d3 is crap, fcuk that looser etc. It's really addictive with awesome combat system but has annoying problem.
I don't want to get into d3 problems (in this topic )

I read all this stuff (i think all ^^ ) and also see "concept art".
I start to think that blizzard ent. don't want to have 2 MMO to compete with each other.
Maybe some day David show us more detail about his d3 vision.
