I'm playing softcore and I'm super stressed because I've not done three conquests yet. I want to do the "Curses!". However, besides lack of time, I can't find a decent chest for my WoL monk. I've heard that the one in act5 (drowning something) should be great. Seems to be a pain searching for though. It's a HUGE area to cover and with few elites/champs Ingeom has a low up time.
I'd also love to do gr75 but I don't currently have the gear it seems. I don't do nearly enough damage. This means I have to farm for better gear but that might take time and I'm not sure I have that time before the next season.
I might just be too stressed to think straight but can you throw me some advice, please? Any other chest doable with a WoL setup which managed at least gr70 in like 10 min? Or any other tip would be great!
Yes, Curses! is just about the chest in act 5 in Drowning Path; look for the bounty "The Cursed Peat". It's a cursed chest on top of a hill. It can also be there without the bounty, but checking for a game with the bounty is just quicker.
The easiest conquest by far is Boss Mode. GR75 is by far the hardest conquest, by the time you've done that you should have every other conquest completed *easily* as the power level required for this is much much higher than for any of the other 4 (even if you do them solo, yes).
In addition to the tips from the other thread, same advice: feel free to post your battle tag, often it's just about optimizing your character a bit more. Also, which conquests have you done already? And are you playing alone or in a group (and would you be fine with asking for help from a community or do you want to complete the conquests solo)?
1) For the TX in 2 minutes, the two main points are to have a dedicated "porter" who leaves the rift at 90% completion to instantly talk to Orek when the RG dies (saves 10-15 seconds) and most importantly, when you have the "open rift" don't loot. Just pick up no loot until the RG is dead, it'll speed up your run significantly.
2) Curses is more difficult than Boss Mode. Both solo and in group.
They complete Boss Mode at 22:09 with more than enough time left ("we should've done it earlier"). At the end they go straight for the Curses conquest (you can hear him say "everyone goes in their own game looking for the chest"), but don't get a close attempt until 40 minutes later and it takes them 1.5 hours until they get it.
I'm not saying Curses is incredibly difficult, but Curses can definitely be failed and needs some thinking. Boss Mode is really hard to fail once you're paragon 400+ and virtually impossible to fail in a group at any paragon 200+.
Cheers for some pep talk and good advices. Also, sorry about duplicated thread in that case!
I've done On a Good Day and did Speed Demon while speeding through a public rift, just when I saw the density I just went ham and guess one or two others did as well.
My b-tag is Zephire#2318 though I do switch gear quite a lot since I enjoy creating goofy builds. I don't really believe in myself so the most tiny obstacle makes me wanna quite since I'm not "capable", which is stupid.
Also, I'm a solo player when it comes to conquests.
Ah, finally found the Cursed Chest in Drowning. Were no problem almost failed due to having to much attack speed which made sweeping wind fall off, twice... some precious seconds wasted without noticing.

decently geared people should be able to solo carry tx in 2 minutes in a pub game on a good map while still picking up legs and dbs. i think the single most important thing about this one is fishing for a good rift. also, it doesnt take anywhere near 10 seconds to tp and run to the guy. maybe 5 seconds?
cursed peat bounty is a bitch to find. running to find the event without bounty is a waste too. just check your game everytime you join/make one instead. or join a bunch of comms.
The cursed chest is a large tileset event, what we did, and there were three of us, was separately look for the large tileset events in the zones in separate games, you find the wrong one, new game. DO NOT LOOK just for the BOUNTY, it'll take forever.
Found the event in under 30 minutes, and I carried the other two for the body count (DH sentries), easy peasy. Hate to say it, but I had't considered doing it in HC for another conquest, and I have a HC in season. Too obvious I guess.
Yo!

We had a thread with *exactly* this topic just as recently as yesterday, take a look here:

I'd say, this season had exceptionally easy conquests.
Curses! (350 Cursed chest kills) https://youtu.be/1PRjgf3yBEE
Incredibly easy, just restart until you find the chest in Paths of the Drowned.
Find some people, start event, spam aoe. Did it with a single friend, neither of us had constant aoe. We got it on our first try.
Can probably be done solo, especially if you're a DH.
On a Good Day (Three Legendary gems to level 65)
Again, incredibly easy. Will require a bit of work though.
Any Class, any set, should be able to clear Grift 65 with relative ease.
And that's all you need to push gems to 65 with a 60% chance.
Boss Mode (Kill all bosses in TX within 20 min)
Any 4 players, should be able to complete this one without to much trouble.
Basic planning on boss split, alter build for mobility.
Make sure you send someone with good damage to down the tough bosses quickly (Diablo, Malthael etc).
Speed Demon (Clear a TX Rift within 2 minutes)
Moderately easy. You might need a couple of attempts.
You'll need 4 players with some decent speed & damage (Can be done with less, but easier with a full party).
But the only hard part (hard=time consuming) will be fishing for a good rift.
You'll want one with high density and a lot of champion/rare packs (Graveyard, Act 5 Exterior or Jail to mention some).
Find the right rift, split up and wreak havoc.
Divinity (Grift 75 solo)
Should be doable for most classes and sets. Might need a couple of attempts, I cleared Grift 75 on my third try.
You will need some decent equipment, but nothing extreme.
I cleared it with 4 Ancient pieces (Weapon included) and Paragon 580 while playing Leapquake Barb.
Obviously classes are a lot different on how they handle solo rifting, so some classes might have a harder time. Thus needing even better gear.
Also, a solid tip.
For an easy conquest, complete the Cursed chest one on the "other" difficulty.
I didn't actually take advantage of this. But would've been easy to do.
Already had a level 70 HC character, that was needed for Journey. Joined a bunched of HC communities and shamelessly, but politely asked for a boost.
Shouldn't be to hard to find a friendly player to help you with the conquest if you fish for the Paths of the Drowned chest.
Some good advice, Snowflakez. Just two points:
1) For the TX in 2 minutes, the two main points are to have a dedicated "porter" who leaves the rift at 90% completion to instantly talk to Orek when the RG dies (saves 10-15 seconds) and most importantly, when you have the "open rift" don't loot. 2) Curses is more difficult than Boss Mode. Both solo and in group.
For example, check out Wudijo's video of their rank 1 conquest streak: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX6zluYxTR8

Another easy one is killing all 16 bosses in 20 mins you can do this in a group or if you're fast you can do it solo!
Ah, finally found the Cursed Chest in Drowning. Were no problem almost failed due to having to much attack speed which made sweeping wind fall off, twice... some precious seconds wasted without noticing.
I guess I just needed some motivation. Thank you!
