Good afternoon Diablofans. I was just kind of curious as to what the most common program to record D3 gameplay is? Better than most common, the best quality for free would be. I am not looking to stream or anything, just want to record. Any thoughts/opinions are appreciated.
Many people also use Fraps, but Fraps isn't free and is, in my opinion, a resource hog (at least compared to OBS). OBS is a streaming software but the recording feature works perfectly fine.
To set this up, just Google for something like "OBS Diablo 3 recording tutorial" and you'll find plenty of guides, just pick the video/text guide depending on what you prefer. There's many of them. If you've ever set up something similar it's also relatively straightforward.
There are some new programs that some streamers are switching to which are supposed to be even better than OBS... but for OBS you have the ton of support from online tutorials since "everyone is using it", so I'd strongly recommend to go with that one.

Thanks!
Open Broadcaster Software seems to be able to do just about anything these days. That and it's a top quality program.
OBS: https://obsproject.com/

I'm using Overwolf. It's free and from the Teamspeak company
Thanks for the replies all!
