Just a thought that you can't possibly get your paragon level to 10,000 what to speak of 1000 although I've seem some players that have gone all in since the start of the new season 6 , I see that a problem is that there isn't a choice as to the player having accumulative Paragon points for Seasonal characters from season to season , only accumulative for non seasonal characters , I'm hoping that can be rectified with a new Paragon system , Can't except that a player could get to the end of the current season 6 with a paragon level of 10,000 , although it may be a bit of a stretch but if you go all out you may get to 1000 points . Just seems a little unfair to the players who play occasionally and who want to get their Paragon level up to the level cap at some point in the future and only get to 200 - 400 and then the season ends , I don't want to play non seasonal that much and either way seasonal or non seasonal seems a little far fetched/defeatist , need a 3rd new Paragon system that allows the player a choice to accumulate their Paragon points for each Season for Seasonal characters to deal with this paradox of having the Season only 3 months long with no way of getting their level up past 200 - 700 - 1000 plus in season with the only option to play non season characters to get to the maximum level cap unless Blizzard does away with non seasonal characters all together with only Seasonal characters ? Or some other new system . Maybe in the rumored new Diablo 4 this paradox can or could be rectified .
Seasonal characters start from scratch, with nothing to their name, that is the whole idea of a season. Non-season already exists for what you are suggesting. Seasonal characters get converted to non-seasonal at the end of a season (items get mailed across, paragon exp gets added to your NS paragon), therefore you never lose progress. This aspect of the paragon system works flawlessly and requires no change. The idea of retaining paragon across seasons sounds like the worst idea I've ever heard, especially in its currently "broken" (less than optimal) state.
Season means you start over, carrying over paragons is a bad idea and defeats that purpose,
with that said i agree the paragon system needs a rework, specially to bring back some decision/diversity in character building, cause getting 5+ int for the last 699 paragon levels has been boring as shit.
Lastly if we were given choices in the paragon system they could cap it's gameplay rewards @ 1000 and all other paragon levels after that would reward cosmetics, like each 100 after 1000.

Do you think that this issue could be improved upon in new rumored Diablo 4 just saying Players could have a choice , how that could be done I don't know it just seems paradoxical that you will get to the point in seasons that if your goal is to get as high a Paragon point score as is possible playing seasons then you'll reach a point where you have no choice but to play non seasonal which I really don't particularly want to do , just seems a little bit unfair .
I'd say we need more content for non seasonal to make that part of the game more attractive to players as it is now non seasonal seems somewhat dull unless Blizzard decides to somehow combine both seasonal and non - seasonal into one or surprise us with something else , possibly some non seasonal exclusive something .
Non-seasonal already has exclusive content, legacy items; they make it possible to play certain builds which cannot exist in season. A great example would be "duplicate" equips, whereby 2 different versions of the same item can be equipped at once (such as 300th spear, oculus ring, fist of az, and the list goes on).

This doesn't make sense at all. By playing seasons, you are not being forced to play NS. If you wanted to, you could immediately delete your rolled over chars as soon as a season ended and either never pick items out of mail, or simply delete them altogether and wait until the next season begins. Seasons serve to provide competition (and marginal benefits, i.e. stash tab), to the extent that everybody must start from scratch and has the same gearing options available. Non-season is where all of the hard work put into seasons is accumulated post-season, so that the efforts are not lost.
