seriously i speak from the heart and all diablo 2 and 1 fans when i broadcast my opinion. wTh happened here? did they forget about there loyal fans or have we been ignored? The whole lvl'n for power sounds great. But on the other end diablo 2 and 1 was a game based on gear. Gear > lvl even tho lvls had an important part to play based on your build. I don't mind waiting for the game.. the graphic's look more amazing then i could ever ask for.. the story line meh cool i hope its got an evil twist with a bit of mystery.. but diablo 3 should be about what the diablo fans ask for exactly? not quite. when i play wow or other games i have to accomidate to what those fans want and im fine to be dictated into that type of game play. But let me ask you this. People keep sayin if theres a solution in wow and works for diablo why not do it? girly voice: cause if theres a solution in tony hawk 3 it might work for diablo 3 but your changng the TYPE OF GAME PLAY that what makes the game what it is. This is wow and its not sc2 i like all these games but when i feel like playing those games. i switch games. I love what you guys have done with the game don't get me wrong, theres always going to be more then one alternative or explanation for what you guys have done. All i would really like to SEE from the GAME is a serious seperate PVP from the pve. Both are Awwsome. What diablo 3 Really needs is a pVp with Fast gameplay, freedom for different types of duels, and a pvp thats based on gear requirment and builds suited to your play style. I would also like to see a pvp arena for a more open play style. An arena where people can play whats say.. unfair maybe test your 2 player team against a 4 player team or a free for all. getting the picture here, a game that could accomidate every buddy, so the game isn't REPETITIVE. ITEMSSS yes rare priceless one of a kind items passed on from patch to patch until very few remain. is what starts the spark in the diablo fanchise. Theres the traders the collectors and the duelers and some players fit into all 3 of these even if they only duel Every1 is exited to face diablo but i also want the same exitment for trading until you get that perfect gear. To have the games true value expressed. People need to trade for those rare items soo... trading feels like a profession, a job somethin ur good at, to give you a place in the game if your style isnt pvp or pve, pve finds the items traders get them to the right bidder usually the duelers, collectors or another trader. I would also like for you guys to have items in different patches that will increase or decrease in price in newer patches for example like the bow 08 windforce it increased in value until faith came out but still a unique bow for switch, glasscannon or if ur dueling on the same TEAm as a smiter. A higher lvl requirment would be nice since you could base the damage in pvp off your skills pts rather than lvl, gear and skill pts equaling Dmg and basing there dmg off characters health or armor dpnding on how balanced your character is and the players skill level. yes im all over the place, random duels? private duels? Both?
will there be items that take skills from another class? horodric cube? frw? fcr? fhr? crit, amplify, damage reduce, magic res, etc.. also every character should feel like a seperate class, sorc should feel like a hard to hit high damage character, same as demon hunter if you glass cannon or if the sorcs a tank with dr should be hard to kill and still do decent damage with the right build gear (in pvp).. chance to hit? dodge skills?????
I know you guys have already made modifications for the diablo fans, just keep the game somewhat the same style
Well i think ive went on long enough. Theres lots more tho trust me. What im tryan say. is keep the pve the same the pvp builds will still work in pve or against bosses just tweak the gear a bit more for pvp. I want it to feel like harmony when you hit the arena and pull off the sickest move in your unique gear and possibly dombinate the whole map. The good players want to have that feeling where they can beat all odds, even if ganked
your crafting system looks great just remember to put in rare craftible items that are 1 of a kind, the best for certain builds
p.s will you guys have a built in mic. program instead of vent(seperate)? and will you guys have programs for bots (seperate or your own)? for servers to run CLAN (guild sounds G..a..why)channels or lvling channels
You're either a child or a drug addict (the drug being Diablo 2).
You have no common sense and don't even deserve the right to post topics. There's way too much stupidity in there. Some points tried to form themselves and you have the right to your opinion, but right now the entire thing is absurd.
Join the Irish Mob. We like almost everybody. Read Pants are Good. It's funny. You'll like it.
Also read Wintendo, as DINGBANG is attempting to play through 764 SNES games in a back catalog.
Ok now that I've been able to process some semblance of a message from that let me try and see if I get what you're asking for. You would like the PvP and PvE to have similar components right? To have no separation? If I'm reading this wrong I apologize.
I think that Diablo II "did" have a feature for PvP but I just new it for ganging back in the day. I presently just playing solo through toons that didn't interest me when I originally was playing. Back then the PvP aspect was largely disrespected from my memory.
The reason I think Blizzard did this was to allow for their to be some kind of balance, again I've just glossed over it but I think that works out. The random item generator is to have little predictability, and thus is like playing a storied slot machine, and I love it ^.^ If from what I gathered from your statement you think that if the PvP system has a more structured loot setup it should be in the main game. I think that is what you're saying, again many apologies if I'm missing the point.
That just wouldn't be a good idea, it is taking one of the more interesting aspects of Diablo out of the main game. Making a separate game that is balanced around predicable gear progression makes sense in an Esport world but not in the main Diablo world.
That said there trying to make set items fit in there somewhere. I'm guessing this will likely be in some sort of end game setup, which is what I'm hoping for. Not predictable but achievable, I think is more in line with a Diablo loot revision.
Anyhow I hope I replied in some manner that is appropriate to your post, but I can only hope.
seriously i speak from the heart and all diablo 2 and 1 fans when i broadcast my opinion.
I think that's where I stopped taking you seriously.
I don't know what happened to D3. I didn't even know something did happen.
So, what happened? I mean, I don't get the basis of your argument because, to me, it all just seems like a bunch of suggestions and less of the overly-critical "analysis" I've been seeing for about a week.

building a entire anylasis would be a great idea, yes this is off the top of my head, and may not be takin seriously but the diablo playing style takin seriously by many people

Umm... well umm... you don't get to come in here and say you deserve to be taken seriously if you don't portray yourself in such a manner. Anyhow that said I did leave you a response, but I didn't even get anything other than PvP out of your previous comment. I almost passed out trying to make sense of your comments.
What concept of Game Style did you hit on, or trading systems for that matter?

i was in a hurry
unique items should be held at the highest of currency
and items should be the sole strength of a pvp character followed by player skill, then build style along with a fast pvp gameplay
So, basically you created a thread to talk about every single aspect of the game?

Wow x.x
unique items should be held at the highest of currency
and items should be the sole strength of a pvp character followed by player skill, then build style along with a fast pvp gameplay
Why?
i believe it creates a more competitive atmosphere. new players will still have the chance to be evenly matched with other players. If you work hard for your gear in the game and are a better player shouldnt that give you the oppertunity to have a significate increase in your characters ability, not out of propotion but enough to make a difference. its a more interesting approache to pvp if your dueling a against or as a compete damage character with sick gear you have even less chances to make silly mistakes
the best items in the game should always be the highest currency, this approache brings a must have for certain items in your build
So, why do uniques (they're called legendary items in Diablo III) have to be the be-all for high-end gear? Why not set items, or magic items, or items with lots of sockets and tier 14 gems?

your obsolutily right, i was using the word unique in place of 1 of a kind items or items with certain buff's or perc's
diablo gameplay style is held as a tradition. do you think it should just die here? changes must be made to the original style thats for sure. but a completely different approach would make it a different game with same boss at the end

If it's not a concern to you then I have no concern with reading that horrid wall of text.
