What do you guys think would be the best duo in a PVP match??
I think a monk/witch doctor team would be deadly. The combination of mass damage, pets, possible healing abilities, and possible aura on the monk would create a unique combo.

I always enjoyed doing twin matches because the other team can't make an obvious class based decision who to focus fire on first. So I say dual Barbs all the way
Barb/Monk seems like it would be pretty deadly, both seem like huge damage dealers and the Monk's AoE healing would reach the barb. Would probably get fucked by a dual spellcaster combo though, as they could just get kited to no end. But if you used your cooldowns right and killed someone quickly it could still be successful.
Wizard / Demon Hunter seems like it would be a deadly combo... Not only do they have the fastest travel skills *Teleport, Vault so they would essentially have the best orb control... but Entangling Shot and Slow Time combo sounds pretty nasty... not to mention how hard it would be to stay within close range to hit them.
Barb/Wizard.
Can't imagine something more deadly then whirlwiinding someone standing still. And wizards have plenty of ways to make someone stand still.
From the video we saw, I definitely think mobility is going to be key. It seemed like whoever got the health orbs were the victors most of the time. I'm going with Wizard and DH for now because their mobility skill seems the best for now.

Agreed, mobility will be key. But according to Blizzcon demo roundups ive been reading, Leap Attack is much faster than in D2 and almost as fast as Teleport, seeing as the Wiz has to jump up and land at each end of Tele, and the Barb has Sprint, Furious Charge, and Ancient Spear (which is kind of a movement skill) to go along with that. And the WD can pick up health globes while he is invisible during Spirit Walk. Not to say that Wiz/DH wouldn't be a pretty deadly combo, you could kite people to no end.

You need only just ask
either two wizards (can teleport, slow time, slow enemies) or maybe two barbarians. Charge//stuns with a lot of HP could be too hard to handle in a small enough arena area.
But I feel as runes are going to hit home on so many builds, as we as a community figure out what skill builds/rune plugin setups for each character and then throwing them together with a 2v2/3v3 build will completely change how we look at some teams. Always going to expect fast feverish damage being thrown out, but I feel like some builds will begin to just trample basic teams wanting to fight together. If a team can develop a complete slow build on every character on there team and able to control characters from reaching health globes while still tossing damage, as well not take damage in the same return as best they can I imagine they will become winners of many many battles they see. Those health globes are op!! control them and you will most likely win.
My favorite setup for 3v3 just off watching videos and NO testing my self, I'm going to say barb/sorc/monk. Target clothies first, snare/slow with what we got and nuke him to death while trying to dodge attacks. a 3 barb damage combo would be insane in my mind. Imagine 3 barbs leaping at you and w/w or seizmic slam you immediately and then running away to health globes before you can :D.
2v2, I'm thinking a more slinky setup, not so much "nuke" orientated. DH/SORC might work good with escape abilities and coordinating attacks together. In my mind for PVP I am going to want a team that will always be focused on NOT taking damage, and ALWAYS going for health globes. Damaging when the positioning is on key. All of these is very very short windows of opportunity of course.
DH and WD, Entangling Shot, Grasp of the Dead, Locust Swarm, Horrify, Spike Trap/Shock Spike, Sacrafice. Basically slow them down, use damage over time spells and kite.
