Well, I was watching some Diablo 3 vids today and I noticed that the inventory design has changed over the past couple years. So, I've taken my artistic skills and put in a lot of time to make this high quality comparison. One thing to note is just the overall design and look and how it has changed - I actually like the most recent one the best, the one from the Artisan video. The next thing to note is that they started with the character having gloves and belts, but now they have pants and belts merged as a single item slot, and wrists (separate from gloves). Soooo, I'm basically posting this just wondering if anyone has noticed this, and if not, well, shame on you!
I just hope they keep all the item slots. Armor, helm, gloves, wrists, legs, boots, 2x rings, amulet, belt and shoulders.

Life is only another stage of death, in fearing death you can not live life to the fullest. Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible.
Rings are obviously a staple for the series, so I'll be surprised if they don't make it into the game, but there are bracers in the game. Check out this screenshot of the Blacksmith's socketing UI from the Artisan trailer: File:Socketing_ig_link.png

In case you missed this...
It's about the latest version of the inventory we've seen in the artisan video.
Or we can just have the talisman, y'know, somewhere on their necks. Maybe in the middle of their chest.
I dunno. Not trying to troll, but I don't know why they would go through the extra effort to personalize the talisman slot for every class.
Its just an assumption because the portrait beside the gear could be a placeholder for another element or become a interactive script(mousing over the talisman of the portrait will highlight it, and then clicking on it will take you to the talisman page). They made the effort to make a portrait for each inventory and skill tree. However in the talisman page, the slots could be the same/different for all classes.

Notice Belts too.
I remember seeing the Monk's UI somewhere, but I cant seem to find a screenshot online so can you link me any, old or new.
I'm betting on the talisman looking different for each class. It could be that the talisman for the monk would be the beads around his/her neck.

Yeah, the talismans for each class can be different designs, yeah, but the actual slot they go into shouldn't really change to accommodate each class.
So:
Talisman design = Yes, it could differ between classes.
Talisman slot = No, just give us a little box to put it in.
Just my two cents. :whistling:
