Ubers, I have played Diablo since it started (one, and two), and I haven't even scraped an uber.
I've never fought an uber, from any keys/organs, but I have seen a world event uber Diablo that massacred me, and made me think. Why do ubers have to be so hard to access even to high levels? And, why will you only see a smiterdin killing them?
I want your opinions on these three things.
1. Should the implement ubers in Diablo 3?
2. Should they be hard to access, even to high levels?
3. Should their be an "Uber killing" calss? (For example it seems the monk has many good 1v1 killing skills [Not to mention he's just another paladin...] should this make him the uber-killing-machine?

Ubers are simply amazing. To start it is something to do for end game. Also smiterdons are not the only class that can solo ubers. My frenzy barb can easily handle an uber no problem.
1. Yes an uber type idea should be implemented at some point in diablo 3s life span. Not in the begin but a few years done the road i would like to see them because it gives you something new to end game. It brought some life back to d2.
2. As far as hard to access i think it shouldn't be extremely hard to access but if you put in the time to find the materials needed to access the quest you should be rewarded for it. It should be end end game thing like d2 you have to be in the hardest difficulty to even access the quest.
3. As far as and "uber killing" class i don't even know how diablo 3 characters play like. Who knows what class is gonna be the best suited for end game. We have to wait till the game comes out to answer that question.
I would love if blizzard implement ubers, they're simply amazing like Infamous said

1. Yes, they're fun to do every once in a while. I don't wan't it to be a necessity though, like killing them would give me an Anni or a Torch. Because I don't want to have to spend 30 minutes to kill them for every character I make. Maybe just a small reward that shows people that you killed them.
2. Yes, but be more creative with it. I don't want to have to kill 10 uber mini bosses to fight 1 uber Diablo.
3. I'd rather be able to do ubers with any character, or atleast make the uber killer more fun. Holding right click with smite for 20 mins is so dumb.
All end game special bosses will most likely be relatively easy, never require anyone else than yourself, beatable by all class (the only good part) and everyone will be able to reach them with little effort.
I've never fought an uber, mostly because I only play classic, but I think adding bosses that are even harder then the original bosses is a great way to make the game a little more challenging. I just hope that they can kill even the higher level people so it's always fun to kill them.

Life is only another stage of death, in fearing death you can not live life to the fullest. Some of the world's greatest feats were accomplished by people not smart enough to know they were impossible.

Agreed - then things like Ubers will be added in future expansions
Diablo 3 looks good but it seems like they are trying to newbify it as much as possible (not necessarily a bad thing - it just minimizes re-playability)
They're "newbifying" it for all the people that need to go play Runescape! IMO make the game hard enough to where I die from the fallen at level 4.
