If I'm not mistaken, I believe this subject was brought up awhile ago with blizzard. From what I remember, the potential for storyline, pertaining to Ureh, is so great that it would take up too of the game and development time. Perhaps in the future it may be included in an expansion?
As I said, this is from what I remember reading about, I don't have any post to back up my memory; so, take it for what it's worth.
Wow well that sucks i hoped to see it in game as i am reading the kingdom of shadows right now and it just has so much story they could put into the game. I guess not though, hopefully the expansion brings ureh to us!

An expansion based around Ureh would be Epic. So much story to be eaten up (I hope) I think it is best saved for an expansion along with the fight against Heaven.

If Ureh would be included in the expansion, then I assume actIII will not be a jungle-act, seeing as how that is what Ureh is surrounded by (aside from mountains, of course).
But I'd like to know, what are you guys thinking would be left in Ureh to make for a storyline? The city doesn't revive itself every 20 years, I thought it was once every 2000 years or so? And also, it won't revive anymore, seeing as how Captain Dumon and Zayl ended the 'curse' there. =/ I suppose it could be a nexus of power in sanctuary, thus demons may swarm there. BUT there is one thing I have to give to the Ureh point: the end boss I think is that "Mistress of Pain" or whatever that ugly spider was called. She could be the true (demonic) form of Selena or whatever her name was again (the princess of Ureh that was going to marry Captain Dumon?) and could possibly still be alive and trying to rebuild an army there?

Juris Khan , while about to kill Kentril, says that he couldn't wait another day for the shadow to come back or 200 years suggesting that it happens at random. So the story could be like this.
Enter jungle encampment just outside of Ureh. Theres a quest giver a mage of somesort vizjerez or however you spell it or a rathmanian he asks if you may help him pursue something odd about ureh that he witnessed happen you two enter to find the catlick monster attack you kill it then a horde of ghoulish fiends come out you may attack and gain slight exp but they have so much numbers you can be easily overwhelemed and they never stopoo coming the only way out is to find the street withthe tunnel leading to juris Khans palace. Enter the palace and then get the exp for the quest already given bby the mage. NEw quest from juris khan help him set up the stone again then once you do he tries to kill youo and sacrifice you liek he would have Kentril but you must escape and fight him off and then the end of the main story ureh crumbles and is complete. You could have sidequests done for people such as kentril or attana the princess or albord or zayl or gorst like help albrod fend off the ghoulish fiends and you must kill all 100 and lead albord to safety instead of letting him die. stuff liek that it has a shit load of lore behind it too. It was supposed to be diablos gatewAy to earth. They could switch it up and have him sacrifice the mage you were with and then the gateway opens and you must enter and thats how you get to hell and fight BIG D.. idunno those are some of my ideas.

Ure is one big important place for the lore eater diablo fans, it would be a "waste" to see Ureh in the classic D3.
