Me again , I've been playing through Diablo 2 LoD again, thanks to me spending all my Download cap and not being able to play CoD:MW2 online.
And one thing I noticed was how, certain NPC's reacted positively or negatively towards you, dependant on which character class you have chosen, and I was thinking, I like this hearing about their stories or lore, and how they know about my class so personally, this is a feature I would hope they preserve in D3.
I was wondering, what makes you smile from an NPC?
*No Cain, I do not want to stay a while and listen, I am trying to save the world here...

If you mean D2, then I'd have to say Alkor + Introduction + Necromancer. The way he tries to make himself a friend after he scoffed him away is just one big smile moment.
In general I'd have to say, about the same. Some jackass thinks himself the king of the world, but then meets someone who is even greater and he tries to make himself look good.
In D3 you might see this as some guy who thinks he's the best Witch Doctor, simply because he is the only Witch Doctor around. When you play one and meet him he'll be all denouncing at first, but when he recognizes who you are he acts like a little boy.
I actually found out the other day, while I couldn't sleep that I hadn't heard any full stories that DC had to say O.o , I read about them last night on Diablowiki T_T, and I never knew about Runewords :O, thats what you get for skipping every cutscene and all the gossip and chatter lol, I play this game like a Mongoose high on crack.

The high runes are pretty much what the in-game economy is based on!
Oh well
Lol I'm trying to make diablo 2 cd-less. Can diablo 1 be made cd-less? my laptop doesn't have a cd-reader (eee-pc...)

Umm to eskanasi, get a NOCD Crack, um I won't list my favorite site as there may be backlash, but just google it, and have a decent virus scanner - just in case.
lol I never noticed hratli, I did like getting hit on by charsi, even if she was chubby, a barbarian and a blacksmith lol.

One thing me and my friends had a huge rant about was the impracticality of Deckard Cain's name. I mean it just doesn't work in English.
"Welcome, outlander, to our Glorious hovel!"

Why not?
Well try and imagine casually calling someone deckard. It doesn't really work. "Hello Deckard."
And Cain can be just as bad "Hello Cain." the only way his name works is with the whole "Hello Deckard Cain."
It just doesn't work in a casual setting that's all
