I personally dont think so, maybe after a glance, but if you look theres a lot different, and either was as an argument, HOW different CAN you make cities built FROM the rockj of a mountain? I mean structurally theres only so much to be done before you look and say, Bullshit, that support would collapse.

It HAS to look like that. Go read Kingdom of Shadow. It was made like that for a reason.

There are just so many things you an do cutting OUT of a mountain without getting close to completion and the thing collapse with a wrong smack. It isnt gandor.

Fortresses and fortified cities got built in to cliff faces and mountainsides, both in real life and in fantasy, because it provided a natural defense from the back where you knew masses of armies couldn't get to you from. You didn't have to build another wall behind you, either. It's really just common strategy, walling yourself in. I do it all the time in Age of Empires and BFME II
Although I didn't read Kingdom of Shadow so I don't personally know if it was for similar reasons, but as a general rule of thumb if you see a castle built in to a cliff, that is why.
So the end point here is, it really doesnt look so much alike unless you give a passing glanc,e and thats because there both built out of mountains. Its your thread, im triyng to be polite, do you want to discuss it more or can we report it for lock, seems to be answeredquestion?

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
But yeah once in game they shouldn't look the same.
