Well yeah.. the world isn't so huge if you look at the map.. it's not like deserts and such change hugely over time. They probably give some new vibe to those areas and also new kind of dungeons.. Also all those new towns out there will really bring a feeling of a new game.
I want freaking heaven....But obviouslly that wont happen. I could see you going to arreat and entering hell through there or have a final battle on arreat idk but it should be epic.

Weee heaven...Lol i want to go to heaven and fight diablo in the angris council room or whatever. And angels will die in this game. On Echoes of war disc 2, there is a song thats named "The LAst Angel" so i think it is an appropriate title for when all the angels but tyrael fall.

Oh you mean that you miss seeing that huge crack that says "to hell". Lol.
I'm glad that we're going back to Tristram and seeing how it's slowly rotting away. But I don't want Diablo 3 to have the exact time of pattern as Diablo 2.
Going back into the Burning Hells would be very run-of-the-mill - even for Diablo. It would only be appropriate that the Hells come to us now. That's what LOD setup to begin with: hell spilling forth into our world (and eventually, I would wager, heaven). So I think it's in Blizzard's best option to have an act in a very corrupted Heaven. Perhaps my $0.02, but I'm with the OP... there's not much to be said about recreating the same content. Recreating the gameplay style... sure... but content? It'd better be worth the wait (and money).

LOL
pretty much it!
but i never said that we should only be running in known grounds...
you know what would be an awsome expansion if they discovered that the world of santuary as they know it now was just one continent on the world mwahaha theres an "expansion" lol
My opinion is the game should start on tristam, continue on westmarch. The second act is borderlands and caldeum. The third is Ureh and some place. The fourth is hell.
What I would love is to have the final battle of the game fighting IMperius near the arreat crater, with the cool wind-snow efects. It would also be great to be in a battle between heaven, hell and humans (triple H who would've thought about it), but that would make a lot of computers explode, and to fight the angiris council (not Tyrael) in the Silver city.
So many cool possibilities, but what would be great is to have the final battle of the series in the arreat crater.
I'm not surprised about the environvents being in that order. I knew it was going to be like that since the announcement. And it doesn't bother me because, maybe Tristam is like d2act 1, but the borderlands is nothing like the d2 desert. It's windy, with abandoned structures and towns and full of cliffs.
The 3rd act will be in Ureh I suppose, I don't know if it's jungle themed.
1. i cant hardly tell wth your saying in your post (OP) something about shoving stuff up your ass? Well anyway...

By the way, Act 1 in D2 didn't look so shiny and happy to me...
Was just about to say pretty much the exact same thing.
Your first argument is very hard to understand.
I don't recall anyone saying that the Warrior from Diablo 1 was smart.
But how do you know that it was a dumb thing to do? Maybe the Warrior knew that Diablo would return, and he didn't want someone else to suffer with Diablo trying to take over their soul.
And about the Acts being the same, how many possible areas are there? Theres, rainforests, tundras, deserts...Idk any others, plains maybe? W/e. The point is, there's always going to be places that look the same in every game that takes place outdoors, unless you want Blizzard to create different types of weather and shit.
But just because there's a desert or a moor type area, that doesnt mean its exactly like act 1 or 2, im sure they'll be able to think of different dungeons/cities/monsters etc. to make it different.
I personally thought that even though Diablo III's Act 1 was based around Tristram and that area, that it looked vastly different from Diablo II's Act 1...

I am talking about the general layout and the fact that you go back to Tristram again makes it like Act 1 Diablo 2.
RIP: Demon Hunter: lvl 50 | Barb: lvl 60 (plvl 5) | Monk: lvl12 & lvl70 (plvl 200)
also according to ppl who played in blizzcon you start out in the desert in that demo xD
so there is a chance they could change it up
plus most of the skills ive seen are totally different than that of D2 so i dont think D3 will be anything really like D2
not counting that D2 used sprites while D3 now has a physics system and 3D environment added in =3
Be my Buddy =^.^=
that's totally what i think.
when played d2 i was very happy to find tristan, and actually sad that it was so small and only "that part"

we really need new fantastic stuff.
Nah the idea sucks ~_~..
It would make for an epic battleground, too
and why wouldn't it be possible?
it is an easy for them to keep expanding the story and the world
