How many of you will totally quit World of Warcraft when D3 comes out?
I know I will, I live and breath Diablo lore and gameplay!
I am also getting nervous because I almost did not get tickets for Blizzcon last year to check out D3 lore+gameplay. This year it is being held on my birthday so I REALY wanna go><. Wish me luck!
I quit wow after my guilds c'thun and KT kills, then i said id quit after our KJ kill....said id nvr play again.....wotlk came out and i did all those raids to....im quit now but I bet ill go back :(....unless D3 manages to capture my attention like D2 did
I'll definitely be getting D3, but I don't think I'll be quitting WOW.
I was playing BGII, Diablo II and WOW at the same time, while I have concertrated mostly on WOW as of late, I still love the Diablo series.
Guild's doing quite well in WOW right now, 25 man Naxxramas runs, Ulduar. I'm not going to just abandon that. Reduced capacity sure, but not quit.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
I've quitted wow because i really dislike raiding all the time.
I'm playing D2, but only a few hours/week.. I just want to see if 1.13 will do any good to the game.
WoW is a TERRIBLE game. Why? Because its too slow and involved for my liking. And because its so well made that I'm addicted to it anyway. Please D3...save me..

Get hooked on another game. Or keep yourself really busy. These are the key strategies I've used in beating the WoW addiction. I've "quit" WoW 6 or 7 times since it first came out in 2004. This time I'm determined to beat it!
I finally quit WoW a couple weeks after I got 80. I hate endgame raiding, and I don't enjoy PvP much. So I was just sitting around waiting for another expansion and that got boring.

I was gonna quit at 80 as well. then had a change of heart...I quit at 73 lol. my guild was sad I left. The SINGLE best thing about wow for me was the people I met. But im glad I left it. (again)
It's all about Diablo III for me. I will not play any other game except for Diablo III, whatever hours I would have used playing something else, will go into Diablo III. I have already warned loved ones in advance that I will be departing from my participation in "life" for a little while when Diablo III comes out. That's what I did for Diablo II also. It was notorious back in my Highschool days with my parents as being, "That game that stole my life away." I can only hope my fiance will be able to handle Diablo III's release. I am also putting together a new box along with the release to make sure I can squeeze as much performance as I can.
I don't know I'll quit WoW immediately after I get Diablo III, or even at all. However, one thing is for sure, I'll lessen my playing time on WoW quite a bit for Diablo III. We'll see what happens.
I quit playing WoW the day WOTLK hit. Too time-consuming. Plus, with the hype of D3 and my silly belief that it would possibly come out in 2009 (which I've of course no longer believe) I thought I'd rather not play two online games at the same time.
But even though D3 isn't coming out this year, I still don't want to play WoW. From what I've heard about the newest expansion, it's so stupidly easy now that there's no point.

Or you could mount an ISO image of the disc (legally obtained, of course ).
Going back and playing D1 and D2 with my gf to freshen up on the experience.
