I was just watching the gameplay debut again and it got me wondering about a few things. Ok so far each player sees their own loot, right, but what about other players' kills? I doubt there would be any drops for you from kills that aren't you own, but maybe there is? And does this include bosses and mini bosses? If so that would mean whoever got the last hit would get the loot, which would be bad. Perhaps bosses/mini bosses are an exception for mutiple loots for each player.
And it's the same question for chests, I'm sure they won't limit those kind of drops to one person.
Im almost 100% sure that what they meant by "players see and pick up their own loot," is that as long as your partied no matter who gets the kill you will always get the corresponding loot. yes this includes bosses and mini bosses. so dont worry.
Blizzard wouldnt make a game with the object of kill stealing.

Even if one takes every reefer madness allegation of the prohibitionists at face value, marijuana prohibition has done far more harm to far more people than marijuana ever could

Aahh ok, cause when they said that I was worried you wouldn't get your own loot from other people's kills. They would seriously hinder the amount of drops one would receive.
haha well when next time when in doubt just think BKB-Blizzard Knows best

Correct me if I'm wrong but Blizzard stated that in normal games, all people in the game are partied from joining (and simultaneously didn't rule out PvP for D3)
I don't think the new drop system and the old D2 party system would come together very nicely, someone would exploit it somehow
Yes you are correct Genesis. Once you entered into an online game, you were already partied up. But that was just from the demo and we all know that Blizzard has a habit of changing things at the last moment.

Yes, but it doesn't mean that you can't LEAVE that party, according to Jay Wilson.
what if there are two or more ppl in the party that are the same class?
do they both see the same drops, then wouldnt that just be like the old games where u would have to be fast on ur hand at clickin the loot?
It should be an extremely improved and modified form of how they did it in Guild Wars.
The only thing I didn't like in Guild Wars is that you could see what others got until they picked it up.. made me not really care for what I got half the time.
Also, if they didn't pick it up and drop it nobody else could get it.

Watching 240 guys talk trash about cavaliers is like two retards having a slapfight over a sippy cup.
I would bet, that the only drops you see are the ones you get and that no two characters of the same class would have no bearing on it.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]"Fool! You have just ensured the doom of this world. You cannot even begin to imagine what you've set in motion this day. Go to the Temple of Light, in the eastern ciry of Kurast. There you will find the gate to Hell opened before you. You must find the courage to step through that gate Marius. Take the stone you hold to the Hellforge, where it will be destroyed. Now run! Take the stone and run!"
I dont want them to change the drops. I thought it was fun to have to fight for the loot. Of course most of the time for me, as soon as a boss died, my screen would freeze for 5 seconds, but when it didnt, it was so fun.
