Looking around the web can not seem to find anything out about progress of the game and found nothing. Does anyone have idea if act 1 is complete or still working? Are there any new interviews or coming interviews. It has been two months since Blizzcon and nothing really new. Yes screen shots of stuff we already knew. Art was kool but how is the development of the game going ? How far along are they? What are they looking to change or add? questions questions questions ? Will they ever be answered. Oh yes when they are done they are done no sooner no later .
Yes there was a recent revelation by Bashiok that Act I was in fact not complete, it's not entirely clear how far along they are, and it's especially difficult to judge considering Blizzard is famous for revamping and changing their games as well as pushing back release dates. As for what they plan to change/ add, well no one knows that other than Blizzard obviously.

I wouldn't say that act 1 is completely finished.
It's mainly done, but Blizzard will keep going back and revising it, adding new things if they need to. Update certain areas, etc.
But yes, the main part is done. and they're probably 3/4 done with the main part of act 2 as well.
From what I understand Blizzard is working on the game in an act to act basis, so they finish with one act then they go on to the next. That being said, "finishing" the act probably just means finishing the terrain part of it for Blizzard and that probably includes the terrain for the Adventure mode as well.
Only God knows when D3 will release, I don't even think Blizz knows what their time table is, which is why they always go by the 'it will be out when its ready' ideal.
Well, once the first Act is done, a lot of the rest is just remodeling and retexturing on top of old data with the exception of unique bosses and monsters with unique abilities. The random generator works the same, the monsters' objectives remain the same, the behavior of the terrain remains the same, etc. Once the first Act is out the door, the others will follow much more quickly.
The core mechanics of the game are finished. Now content, skills, areas, items, ect need to be made. How long that will take the public doesnt know.

Blizzard does know, you cant design and build something this expensive without having a timetable to finish it in. They have an idea but im sure they are completely open to delaying it if they need to.
It had better come out next year. They can't possibly jerk us around any longer than that. Well I mean they can, and probably will, but I hope they don't.
It seems like we all have been waiting forever for Diablo 3 to come out, we find out that they are making the third one, and now they are teasing the hell out of us. Which Blizzard is very very good at with games.
I don't really mind the wait, hopefully it means that the game will be as good as we all hope it will be.
