my prediction is that somone resurrets mephisto diablo and baal you have to face them then after they are all dead tyreal gets corrupted and fuses mephisto diablo and baal lol i bet thats gonna happen give or take a little
First guess, I agree its very likely that the 3 Prime Evils merge into one super-evil uber-demon because their essences merged as one in the worldstone before it was shattered, or something like that.
Second guess, the final boss will have something to do with a fallen angel, either joining to lead hell and conquer heaven or going mad/nihilistic and trying to end all existence(haha ironically this makes Hell almost seem lawful-evil incomparison eh?). Knowing Blizzard games natural "habits" it will most likely be either Tyrael or Imperius.
I’ve always liked the idea of having to fight yourself somehow, maybe some sort of mirror match or something along those lines? Of course this would have to be very carefully thought of to prevent loopholes from experienced players (ie: activating the quest before spending skill points… taking off equipment, starting fight then putting equipment back on… etc…)
I want the bosses to be hard, smart, almost impossible to kill. I want to have to die 15 times to learn wth i 've to do to kill him. I want a boss that is so hard that ppl quite the game because couldn't kill him *--*
If theres is something that i hate in a game is kill a boss in the first try.

Some of us have more important things to do with our lives than devote them to overcoming overly challenging computer game bosses. Diablo is not popular for it's complex game mechanics. It is popular for its simplicity, because people like me can sit down and play for 5 minutes and make progress.
That's why it's an action-RPG. I can't do that with a regular RPG because I would have to worry about making the "right dialogue decision", or completing some long drawn-out quest, or having to get together with a party, etc.
In Diablo, I can just sit down...play for a while, then leave. Mindless entertainment at its best, thats the way the game has always been.
Every time you die in a computer game it is giving the player an incentive to leave the computer and do something else, because nobody likes dying. It's frustrating. If I die a few times in a row, I am likely to quit playing and do something else. I'll come back to it a few times later, but eventually I'll just ged fed up and stop playing the game. That's not the kind of game Diablo is supposed to be.

Hay i'm a very casual gamer too. 3 years ago i was a hardcore diablo player, but nowdays i play only at the weekend.
However video game is not just a enterteinmnet for me. It's like a hobby. So I really like challenging games. If i don't fill i'm in danger, I dont like the game. Thats why I think D2 singleplay is really boring (except Hell p8) and D1 singleplay is great.
I really wnat they look for those wow bosses when they are creating D3. I never raided because i hate the fact of dying because a radom healer is dumb or i've to play when my raid wants to, but my brother have raided everything nad i see how chalenging those bosses are.
1) Bosses need to be massive
2) Bosses need to have minions
3) Bosses need to have good drops
4) Bosses need to have some buildup to them--similar to the seige breaker in the gameplay video--you see it run around underground and you go "What was that thing!"
As for ideas--
1) A human who has willingly conspired with the demons is always a good idea
2) A hero or symbol who has been tragically broken and remade into a horrible retch
3) The butcher was fun in the first 2 games
4) A creature wrapped in shadow or fog that can dissappear and reappear
5) I would really like to battle the "goat man" god that it talks about in the bestiary

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]"Fool! You have just ensured the doom of this world. You cannot even begin to imagine what you've set in motion this day. Go to the Temple of Light, in the eastern ciry of Kurast. There you will find the gate to Hell opened before you. You must find the courage to step through that gate Marius. Take the stone you hold to the Hellforge, where it will be destroyed. Now run! Take the stone and run!"

Then just go kill Duriel in single player.
But I see what you're saying, and I agree. I just don't want too much strategy involved.

I really hope there is strategy into it. However i'm not talking about a RTS type of strategy.
If you take a game like God of War and play it in the hardest mode (God Mode at the first; Titan Mode at the second) it's a VERY strategical game. I hope they use that kind of strategy.
As they said God of War, Zelda and World of Warcraft are their inspirations for the boss fights, i can really hope VERY strategical and challenging bosses =)

I meant in a "you have to attack his back when he's charging up the 'ultra ray' and then jump on his head and press 'z' to yank out his horns which expose his weakpoint" way. I want stratedy to try and attack in different ways, like killing the shamans before going for the minions. That's good stratedy.

Simple but true .....
Was done in other games years ago as well, so why does it matter?
It was explained in the following posts. Don't let me drift offtopic again.
that sounds like such a mad idea.
