I always loved PVP when you were owning seven people by yourself or bunch of team pvps but I can understand the 4 players thing because I really didn't like the game to be full when I started my first character , I enjoyed that close partner when we walking together and doing Act dens and going all the way to catacomb to rape andraiel but are we going to see 4 players for only PVE and there will be a special server that allows MORE people for just pvp because having 4 people max is really lame and if you think about it in diablo 2 , when you make a character , it auto selected 4 players but you have to change it to 8 players and 99 level restriction thing.
Question 2: People are blizzcon who played diablo 3 , could you do pvp at all? cause 2v2 pvp is plain dumb.
No we could not hostile eachother at the d3 demo. There was not even a party screen yet for use. It automatically assigned us into a party to share exp such as in d2
d3 is chaotic. There are tons of badies coming from many directions. 4 players in game is a perfect amount. 8 players would be Insane and no one would be able to tell what was going on. I couldn't even imagine it in the later levels when everyones skills are maxed and have good skill runes implemented
I really hope they just limit the party size instead of the whole amount of players in game. Only 4 in game feels very little. Altho I guess it doesn't matter since I hardly ever pay attention to the other people in the game these days
heres where i think alot of confusion and anger holds.
first off, 4 isnt the final number. so dont get too excited over that.
secondly, they said that they were mkaing pve games that would automatically party and you couldnt hostile.
that leads me to assume that there would be pvp games where you would automatically be hostile.
i beleive that there will be more max players in a pvp game due to the fact that there is less information going on in that game.
It's not even sure if its going to stay 4 players.
"The game is playable for the first time at Blizzcon, and it's playable in co-op with up to four players. When asked about what the upper limit will be for co-op play, he said that the final number is up in the air but they're currently looking at eight. "We're a little bit worried that if you go up to too many players that you're not really going to be playing together anymore. We want to make sure it's a great co-op experience where you really play with the people you're with, so we've just got to experiment and figure out what the optimal number is."
