So why would you wear your annihilus charm in there against the townsperson's advice unless you were willing to take the small risk of losing it due to an internet failure? I don't see why this is such a big deal. Also, you could have picked something more difficult to replace than anni Those things drop like flies!
It just doesn't seem like the fun is worth the risk. I don't see a point in it.
Like I said what happens if someone lures them to a waypoint, then after they steal from me they kill the monsters. If you're not in a party you don't get the loot. Not to mention crashes, etc etc. Just seems like a lot of hassle for a little bit of novelty.

well on tht point you will get pissed off with the game and the person witch would work good for Blizzard becuase then you would be determine to ethier 1 put a personal vendeta on the player or 2keep playing till you get your stuff back so in a way it would be sucking you into the game even more witch i reckon is what they would want. i know it would give you the absolote shits and wouldnt be fare but is the game meant to be fare or is it meant to be an arsehole so you get determine to beat it?
When it comes to gameplay I think people expect it to be fair. I also don't think it'd make people want to play more, it'd make people realize how stupid it is that a monster can steal something you worked so hard for. It'd make some people want to quit. Games aren't meant to be unfair in that way. When you die because you aren't strong enough, fine you level and get stronger. When you lose your item for no real reason... then what? You get another one? Why should people have to? What's the incentive?
tht would be a pain in the arse.
but wouldnt it be funny if there was a glich in the game then a demon theives ur xp but the game goes screwy then you look and the lil bastard stoll all of it and at this stage you were lvl 46 lol

LOL! That would suck so much. You wouldn't even be able to kill him with your level 1 skills.
Ok, so people don't like the idea. That's fine. I was just trying to throw some creative suggestions out there. I don't have my heart set on it...not like my trade ante...which would pretty much be the best thing since sliced bread as far as I'm concerned.
Would this mob be an automatic 1 shot kill no matter the difficulty or area?
By the way, I'm not bashing your idea or anything. Don't take it the wrong way.
mahamoti i like the idea and all for it just putting a comic side to it thts all but i dont know weather its better then sliced bread lol mabye the tooth brush lol
Lord De Seis in the Chaos Sanctuary had "Stealing" but all it meant was he took potions from your belt and dropped them on the ground. If "Stealing" returns as an ability, it should be no more than what it was.
I do not want some little Imp like in Medievil who steals my sword and if I cannot get it back before he gets into his hole I have to buy my item back from some NPC who over charges way, way to much. Ok so I didn't pay anything to get the sword in medievil when i first got it, but it's still a steep price.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.

~not going to buy a wow-ish diablo 3~
~this is the petition you're looking for~
I wouldn't mind it taking only consumables and gold.
Just long term items kinda ehhh.
U WANNA LICK IT?
true, wut a stupid idea.. do u kno how much that wud piss you off?
But having the monsters steal hard earned items and giving other players a chance to get them, is just ridiculous.
