I am talking about individual skills. None of them are bad. The amount and diversity of skills is another matter.

And just imaigne all the cool skills that could be made with the new physics engine!
I prefer my good old 2D to the low poly, badly detailed and unrealistic 3D crap, thank you very much. From what I have seen of 3D games recently, 2D wins in the RPG/RTS department...
As long as the skills are ALL put in good use, then I don't mind having some old skills return just to make it happen.
Unlike D2, where the end of the skill tree compliments from the skills earilier on, I think D3 the skills should actually synergize. So you can use a skill in conjunction with another to make a combo like attack.

That idea=epic. Kinda like charge up skills? Only you don't have to charge? Sweet.
Find Potion : Well yeah kinda useless now after 1.10 when you get LOADS of potions from all bosses. Pre 1.10 you didn't get nearly as much full rejuvs and some HC guys who dueled a lot used find potion barb to get their dueling juices
Find Item: Double loot if you are trying to find items with barb. I have one barb with it, its nice for council to pop some extra gold and items.
Blessed Hammer: Was ok before 1.10 (only immunes are those wendigo's in act3 temples)
Normal Leap: It has knocback, some people use it for dueling when you get it high enough you can jump very far and knockback the enemy.
Attract: Usefull for getting your first minions.
Golems: Well yeah before 1.10 blood golem was the shit. When necros soloed they almost always used it, Fire golem was used in parties. Blood golem used to work with Iron maiden before but after 1.10 the damage returned doesn't heal the golem and you any more. And the damage returned is not enough to kill monsters in big games, they heal more than get damage.
Someone mentioned thorns + iron maiden. IIRC thorns at high level return about 1000% damage and Im only 600% so using amplify with thorns is more usefull since it increases the returned damage by 100%
Dim Vision: Extremely usefull at least in HC. Gloams in World Stone Keep are piss easy with high level dim vision. As soon as you enter WSK spam it and none of them can shoot you, in fact you can pretty much just run trough all monsters when they are dimmed. Also using them on all kind of archers make playing more safe, those might curse archers in hell can take you down very fast.
Telekinesis: Nice to knockback some angry fast monsters, like hepha or smith. Also great for popping chests, picking up potions and whatnot. Was better before lod when you could pick up items with it also.
Can't think of any skills to remove, but since we are getting new classes I doubt there will be much of the same ones and especially the OP and useless ones.
I'll just share my opinion about all the skills in Diablo II and the expansion, hope you don't get bored, if you decide to read. If I say it's good/awesome/useful, then I'd like to see it again. If I don't, then it has to go.
I- The Amazon:
Jab: Complete meh, I'm not wasting 7-8 points for that crappy skill to take effect, ditch it.
Power Strike: Do you like it? I don't. You get more damage in other skills
Poison Javelin: Kicks butt, great skill
Impale: Garbage
Lightning Bolt: Not my type of skill
Charged Bolt: I'll just go ahead and say this. Everything with damage that's 1-x, is gay.
Plague Javelin: Talk about kicking some major ass
Fend: Well, it's not a bad skill, you can use it, just don't invest heavily in it.
Lightning Strike: *sigh* better than the previous lightning related skills, this is actually good.
Lightning Fury: Like Lightning Strike
Inner Sight: Dude, complete waste, you don't to pour skill points into this one before it pleases you. Crap.
Critical Strike: Goes without saying that this is a must have skill
Dodge: Good, if you're a defensive player
Slow Missile: Like Dodge. Mind you, you're spending precious skill points, there are a lot other skills that deserve attention as well.
Avoid: Like Dodge.
Penetrate: Umm, I don't know. Mixed feelings. You can always just add more to Dexterity, but some points into this won't be a huge waste. I don't know, depends.
Decoy: I really like this skill, but with the Amazon's vast array of useful skills, you're more than likely going to get confused. This is a VERY..VERY strategic skill. This will help you in more than 5 ways, way more, depends on how smart you are (if you're an idiot, avoid putting ANY skill points here). This skill is just, amazing.
Evade: I'd take this over Dodge or Avoid, but I don't know, I haven't played the Amazon much. This is just my opinion regarding all the skills, don't take them to heart.
Valkyrie: Valkyrie+Decoy=Instant win. This is smilira to the Shadow Master skill, great skill, hope to see it again.
Pierce: Simply awesome
Magic Arrow: This is useful, you put one point here, and you can fire arrows in emergencies, since this requires no arrows. It's good to have such emergency skills.
Fire Arrow: Useless
Cold Arrow: I don't know, I really don't. With some tweaks here and there, this could be good
Multiple Shot: I think I love this as much as I love Metal and the Barbarian's Concentrate, and I love those two more than my mother.
Exploding Arrow: Crowd control, not that great.
Ice Arrow: Meh, better than Cold Arrow though
Guided Arrow: It's good if you're fucking blind. It's good if you're in PvP though. Multishot is cooler.
Immolation Arrow: Beats Fire arrow. That doesn't mean much though, it would be great to see with the new graphics, but it should be way more effective
Strafe: This MUST appear again, seriously, don't be gay.
Freezing Arrow: Now THIS is cool
This was concerning the Amazon, I will comment on each skill of each character, not at once though, I'll do more later.
Edit: how could you forget locked-on FoH and retarded stunlock mind blast

faster run/walk build ftw. i had the fasted barb in classic
Blessed Hammer needs to go. Seeing hundreds of ethereal hammers that fly in a spiral just looks dorky and out of place.
wtf why not?
i dont really want traps coming back or tornadoes

Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions
There are two reasons I dont play HC.
Hacking pk's and to a smaller extent, iron maiden (for my melee guys obviously).
