Not sure if this has been asked or talked about but here it goes... I know Blizzard hasn't announced any specific system requirements as of yet and I know they lean towards the Idea of it being playable on a wide breadth of system specs, So I'm curious to know if there will be an option to play it at low, medium, high, ultra high settings ala Doom 3, Crysis etc... I remember playing diablo 1 and 2 back in the day and your machine could either handle it or not... but there was no graphics/sound tiers.
Just be patient and wait for blizzard to say how it'll be set up. No one here knows anything about this.
If you want a guess, it will be in gradients where you can choose low, medium, and high because the game is no longer 2D but instead 3D. But again, useless question because no one here (or anywhere for that matter) will know the answer.
Hate to ruin anyones hopes, but the low end requirements of Diablo 3 when it releases in 2-3 years will be today's med-high end requirements probably, so if at the moment you have anything less than a high end PC, you'll probably run into problems. Good Stuff heh.
