Would you like to have level scaling for Diablo 3 where all the normal enemies will be around or same level with the players?
The level scaling will guarantee that all normal enemies will have equal chance to kill a level 99 players, this definitely will increase the strategy element for Diablo 3, furthermore it will make the Health Orbs really useful.
One perfect example of the level scalling would be The Elder Scroll Oblivion.
I think most people will agree that the level scaling in Oblivion was horrible. It pretty much ruined the game for me.

/agreed with silversoldier. it's a great idea in oblivion to me only because i cheated my way to killing everything in one hit. there would be some caps and floors to make things better, i.e. monsters level with you but certain monsters only go up to a certain level, and strong monsters have a minimum level. All in all, disliked
No thanks. I like the fact I can go back to Act 1 and slaughter things if I want. Makes me feel like I have actually gotten somewhere.
Yeah dude!

Sorry but your using of oblivion level scaling pretty much killed your entire suggestion and probably killed support from 90% of the ppl who have played oblivion. I played it as well and the level scaling was horrible...it was an absolute failure in so many ways.
-Prevents you from reading 3 paragraphs in how many ways oblivion's scaling sucked-
Level scaling kills the need for difficulty levels...it would be kind of lame to be a lvl 5 killing monsters in hell looting all the best stuff...you see my point? The entire structure of diablo's gameplay would have to be changed...from the monsters-difficulty levels to the exp given to the very loot system itself would have to be completely redone. I agree diablo 3 needs alot of change to make it better than D2 but there IS a limit to where it is no longer a diablo franchise game. This suggestion would cross that line IMO.

it ruins the game much like it did to oblivion I mean I was like the the king of gods when I defeated hell and then I was riding my horse around basking in my awesomeness when I get killed by a fricken wolf I mean who wants to be the highest level with awesome skill and go back to act 1 only to be killed by a quill rat?I dont know but level scaling = bad there are pages I could write about how it would destroy the game
Yes it would completely destroy the game since oblivion IV was the game of the year 2007-2008 Right? Well the item could be taken of If you would get it in the first place
Besides Oblivion was a piece of cake with 115% chameleon.
what who the hell voted that shit for game of the year.. geez.
What is chameleon? some item? so you need 1 item to totally beat the game.. kek.

Chameleon was one of the most broken parts of the game, getting a couple of items enchanted with it you could pretty much just walk through the game killing things and they couldn't see you. God knows how it got game of the year, the reviewers must have only played a few minutes of it. Though honestly it did actually appeal seemingly to the console demographic with its mind numbing pointless leveling. One of my friends who declared he hated fantasy RPG's actually enjoyed it, probably because it wasn't a real RPG.
Yeah, not a good idea like everyone has said. I could see it working if every monster gained a specific amount of stats with each level i.e. a quill rat would get +1 to all stats per level while Diablo would get +100, this way you can still kill quill rats just by looking at them while Diablo will always be tough to kill, but like many have said already it defeats the purpose of leveling and feeling godly.
I think a better way to add to the tactical side is to put a couple of uberquests/uberlevels with monsters that have a level greater than the level cap for players.
Oblivion was broken, but it was open ended and had a lot of stuff to somewhat make up for its brokenness. But that doesn't mean we need to break Diablo III. Level scaling is simply pointless. You get no feel of improving.
