I haven't seen an announcement by Blizzard yet, but since lurkrr mentioned the S6 conquests in another thread I was curious since when that's the case... but anyways. Blizzard quietly ended S5 on PTR. S6 hasn't started yet, but the conquests and achievements are already visible. Here are screenshots:
Achievements seem to be unchanged: highest solo rift in the Greater Rift achievement category is still GR40, highest gem level for leveling legendary gems under "Items" is still rank 40, and all the other stuff seems to be the same as in Season 5, judging by a quick superficial check.
We don't know yet which sets are the "free sets" nor what the requirements for it (or the stash tab) are. Hopefully Blizzard will post that information soon - otherwise we'll find out once season starts (which should be soon, it probably doesn't make a lot of sense to wait until after Easter with starting S6). My guess is that they'll start the season at the latest on Friday (NA time), maybe earlier. Since it's a holiday in many countries, people will be able to test a lot for a few days in a row (RIP spending Easter with your families). I'll post here if anything new pops up (or anyone else who's faster just post in here ;-)).
What's your opinion on the Conquests? I for one love the fact that four out of five are group-oriented as opposed to last season, where four out of five were soloable only. The 20 minutes for all bosses is actually something that is absolutely doable on day one of the season (for example: two quick runners, one support to keep the DH alive, and a DH just one-shots every boss).
Three gems to 65 is very boring, I wish they would've replaced that with something like "The Thrill". Even as someone who strongly dislikes solo play, "The Thrill" was my favorite Conquest.
I'm not sure what to think of the Cursed Chest thing. I've never actually tried to get really really high, but 350+ seems like it's not that easy due to the low spawn rate in the beginning. I guess if you can do this in a group it should be really easy.
I'll probably try to finish the all bosses in 20 minutes and the TX in under 2 minutes on the opening weekend if I have a well-motivated group. The gem leveling is something that'll just happen "along the way". The other two conquests aren't for me, but certainly something solo players can find enjoyment in ;-)

Killing the bosses with in 20 mins will also be super easy. as for the 350+ mobs most I have ever killed in the allowed time was around 225 so that one seems like its going to be hard. but should be doable with a group I would think all high dps since its only on TX which just means its all about the speed of the kill for that conquest.

I think they are getting a little carried away with the speed demon conquest times. Now they want to make us do it under 2 minutes? Same for Boss Mode. I am of course talking from a solo player point of view.

Why not create a solo season journey and group season journey, attach transmog to them as a reward, and have different trims based on which one you clear. I think that would be pretty cool and fair for all people involved.

I of course don´t know how much time you can spend playing the game during next season, but if they transfer most of the changes they currently implemented on the PTR to the live servers, then GR 75 won´t be too difficult to achieve, since a lot of sets/classes/gems got buffed and the damage dealt by monsters above GR 70 got decreased by quite a lot.
I am personally hoping that the balance of the game is to try and keep people at or BELOW GR100. At some point in my eyes it simply becomes too much.
Was really hoping it was immortal king for Barb, like the new changes too it, shocked they chose Raekor.

Boss mode looks really easy if you run in 2+ - i think that with current gear in s5 i can do it also in solo, while it's likley i won't have much time to spare. Anyway, soething easy to do since multiple people will be looking to do it; it's all about if you get credit for the boss kill if you're not there partecipating to the fight.
Curses!/Stars Align....well the act 5 boggarts and act 1 spiders chests are the two best candidates imho. With my HC barb i remeber reaching 300+ mobs on both but still 350+ will be hard. Even in the video they managed to reach 320, which is still 30 monsters short. I don't think it will be easy.
About classes, i wanted to run a WD for S6. I should be able to do everything i need fto complete the season (especially if this time GR 75 solo isn't actually needed as third conquest).

Best way to try this is whit 4x multishot dh whit cinder and cubed Pride's Fall i assume.
Does anyone know if the requirements for getting the set are the same (level 70, Kulle on T2, GR20 solo)? The only news I've found is that for 7 piece sets like Zuni's you get 3 items in your last cache.
