Biggest thing I would have liked toi have seen and so far it doesn't look like its been implemented is total control of the camera. Being locked into an isometric view really, really stinks, that was one thing I really liked about NeverWinter Nights, and Dungeon Siege, you could pan all around your characters, change the angle of the view, or zoom in. Tha gives you such an advantadge, I don't know why Diablo 3 doesn't follow this logic.
Second thing I'd like to see, is the ability to have a party. This is something that really annoyed me about Sacred, and that was a game where you could have really benifited from having an AI buddy backing you up. Plus you can really haul alot of loot around.
With this being the third installment, I think it should have all of the previous classes from the last two games, plus the new ones they are offering. Different races would be a plus too.
I had heard from some sources on the net that some folks were not happy because the graphics were a little too bright and cheery compared to the previous versions. Now the only videos and images I saw were in a dungeon environment and that looked very dank and gloomy. However I have to agree that if they are trying to give it sort of a WOW look, that would be a bad idea. One of the things I liked most about diablo is it had a very realistic gothic and gloomy look and feel.
Anyway those are my biggest concerns for the game. Hope you like em' if not flame on!
welli think if its diablo it needs to remain the same view and it keeps it diff from the rest of the other games that seem to look all the same for the most part. jsut the progression of the graphics and additions for the new d3 will surely make it even better than the previous diablos,, please keep the birds eye view alive!!!,,, ,, plus when its zoomed in like WOW and dungeon siege the charaters look like blocke figures and move like they have a corn cob up thier u know what,,, keep the distance from afar and keep up the cuttign edge graphics on the characters!!
I'm with the rest, you don't need to change camera angle...what advantage does that provide...the isometric veiw give you a 360degree view...if you some how get suprised by a group of monsters sneaking up behind you, then you must be doing something terribly wrong. Zooming in wont help you find the items either, their will be a button assigned to highlight the item drops surely, that is not something they would drop.
Bringing back all classes...that doesnt make any sense...Lets have a warrior, paladin and a barbarian...a rouge and an amazon, to much of the exact same thing. Personally I am a little disapointed that the barbarian is comming back...a cool character in its right yes but I would like fresh new characters to run through a game with...but as long as there is a rework to his skill tree making him fresh im all for it.
And Yeah already stated, there are no races other then humans and the demonic forces...so that wont work. No Gnomes or Elves taking on the demonic forces of Hell thank you

1.Diablo is best played in an isometric view
well it make sense to pan and zoom around you character the graphics will be blocky
2.A Single hero is wut makes diablo
it's not a D&D where you can make a party. eg. sacred and neverwinter nights
3.the graphic is up to the rest. i'm indifferent cause i know blizz wouldn't change
it.

AI parties in an online game would be hard to do wouldnt it?
"to the worm in horseradish, the world is horseradish."
I like the Diablo angle as it is.
AI parties wouldn't be hard they did it in guildwars. They had a healer, a warrior, a mage etc.
Anyway I don't think it suits D3.
I rather have 5 well designed classes with unique abilities than 20 with a lot of overlapping skills and same animations.
RIP: Demon Hunter: lvl 50 | Barb: lvl 60 (plvl 5) | Monk: lvl12 & lvl70 (plvl 200)
