Hi there,
I've been replying to many kinds of threads since the announcement this last couple of days.
and I feel that little by little I get more and more depressed by the general feeling of displeasure.
Not sure if it's all the hype in all the d3 forums or the vague replies from Bashiok that set the game more and more to failing, I know it's won't be like that but I already have a certain picture of the game in my mind, yes at this early stage, and it doesn't look good.
Instead of tidbits of info I prefer them to just shut the hell up till they decide things in stone and not get "maybe" "I had the bad experience..." - just don't post till it conclusive (to Bashiok).
I just wished they will release more precise data about their plans so we won't have to hang on straws and getting pissed over nothing.
I think we all needs to lay off the forums till we get such info or the hatred is going to consume us.
Is it only me?
p.s: Sorry If my English isn't very good, I'm not native.
You wouldn't feel so depressed if you'd stop trolling at 2 in the morning and went to sleep instead. It's got the Blizzard name behind it; I'm sure it will be an amazing game with plenty of replayability.
The best way for me to tell for myself if a game would suck to me would be to play the demo. I will give ya my opinion when the demo comes out or if I manage to get into the beta.

Yea I'm sure it's 2 am IN EVERY FUC**** PLACE IN THE WORLD, get out troll.
And maybe to some of us the
word "D.I.A.B.L.O" =/= instant win.
blizz fanboi at it's best they will feed you poop and you will smile happily.
No Because it's Blizzard and they can do no wrong. Blizzard is God of Gods, who wears the golden armor, everything they touch magically turns into gold.

If they do 180 degree change like in SC2 (the before and after pictures) I will kiss the ground and leave it in their hands with no farther complains and worries.
The Blizzard games I really enjoyed playing was Diablo 2 and WOW. It's been like what? Eight years since the release of Diablo 2 and four years since WOW. I like to think that during those years Blizzard has gain the experience and firm grasp on how to make a good fun game. I played Diablo 2 three years straight and two years for WoW. I really liked both these games and it seems like Diablo 3 takeing some good aspects from both D2 and WOW. At this point, I don't think D3 will be a utter crappy game but I think it will be a decent one.
No; what i do feel is disappointing is that you are posting this at such an early, (extremely early) stage in the process. Go bitch somewhere else please. If you feel it is going to fail so badly; why even bother? Oh and it's 3am here so I'm like an uber troll or something I guess; but I'm going against a troll so what does that make me? Mainlurker, why do you bother posting this? Oh great admins, you are wise and great in you greatfull power. I greatfully asketh you in your gratefullness that you grant thy servant the request of making thine morons post elsethwhere (seriously make a section called d3 complaints so these imbeciles can go bitch there) Oh no name calling...argh guess I'm unintelligent to the trolls...oh no....hahahahaha. Drunk typing at 3am is fun...don't care if I'm a loser for it.

Clearly the best time in a game's development when you should voice concerns is at release.
I think ppl should have a little faith in Blizzard, theyve done pretty well in the past, and IMO the game looks awesome. Blizzard undoubtedly is listening to its fans and will adjust the environment and 'look' somewhat. People are saying the game isnt 'brutal' or 'metal' enough, but there are few things as obscenely awesome and gothic as say those the fat monsters known as Grotesques who would explode, sending lampreys everywhere, also the fact that the Barbarian in full armor looks like some kinda Sauron/Conan/Gladiator is a near guarantee of how intensely awesome the game will be. There are so many awesome things ppl forget to appreciate that were shown in the demo or the trailer, like the ghouls climbing up the walls of the platform, the siege beast ripping the guys head off, the exploding grotesque, the balrog on steroids look of Diablo, its all just so beautiful in a way that is so friggin METAL!
I am worried it will be, worried it will be aimed simply too much at an audience that isn't me, an audience attracted by bright sparkly objects, cuteness and caricatured figures. The big question is whether they will successfully reel in this new Audience like they did with WoW and get all the little kiddies and girls into it or whether the new audience won't like the gameplay and they will be left with a title that isn't liked by the older crowd and isn't liked by the younger crowd either. Anyhow, they have a long time before release so we can but wait and see how things progress.
Hmm, looking above I guess some people actually like the ridiculously overdone armor.

If D3 had the same graphics, but WoW didn't exist we likely wouldn't be having this discussion.
Personally, I think heavy armor suits the barbarian. It covey's a feeling of "buff-ness" or strength, that he can walk around with such heavy armor.
Plus It's likely big because you'll look down from a zoomed-out isometric prospective. It's so you can still see the highlights of your armor from a zoomed camera.
If its too small than the armor changes may be less noticeable on your character when you zoom out.

shame on them for being slow with updates and being inconclusive in interviews, but this is the game of the year without a doubt

Hopefully they can fix it.
Actually, if SC2 does well when it comes out then we can suspect D3 to do well. That would be the best time to pass judgment.

Also - no, I don't "feel the game going to disappoint".

Conan doesn't need armour, he fights naked.
