Never said it was original.... I said that I posted it in the "original" Ideas Sticky (ie. the first ideas thread that became a sticky made entirely for ideas like this to be posted)
oh, and yes, i mentioned it first..:D:cool:

if it was an account wide stash why would it be limited by the number of characters on the account? then everyone would just make 10 chars or w.e to have full stash space. if they did decide to make a shared account stash i dont think it would be based on the number of characters in the account, i think it would more be a set limit of space for all of the characters that you decide to create. a person with two characters in their account would have the same amount of space as a person with 10 characters.
I imagine they would put a sort of "size grows with level" system in, like they did for amount of money you could hold in D2. So if you create 10 level 1's they don't really boost the size. Or not by much anyway.

Well, my idea was similar to yours, but what I proposed is that every character has the same amount of space in their individual stash.. However, this individual stash would be part of a unified stash architecture easily accesible by all characters on the said account by simply switching in-between character BLADES; sort of like Xbox Live, or even switching weapons in D2: LoD..
"And the Evil that was once vanquished shall rise anew! Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent, and terror shall consume they that dwell upon the earth! The sky shall rain fire, and the seas will become as blood! The righteous shall fall before the wicked, and the lord of creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!"

Yes its a good idea and doable. For characters on the same account, well that's bank.
For multiple accounts... do we even know how many characters can be on an account?
Well for multiple accounts there can be a password system that both have to enter and verify.
If you liked using mules, Good for you. And I'm not to sorry that its changing.

Sharing a stash between multiple accounts will not be possible, unless all of the accounts were tied to the same main user-name, which defeats the purpose for multiple accounts to begin with.
Now, sharing a stash for all created characters on the SAME account is very reasonable, and I'm fairly positive will be implemented in the game. A way to share items between accounts could be a mail system, where you can mail items to a given character name (this system works very well in HG:L, except for the occasional glitch)

Meh, I really doubt she can 'sense evil' or whatever. She was probably just excited about a shoe sale or something, coincidentally when evil was about.
My post is before that thread, see the time below? That's 14 hours before that thread you linked. So, um, yes I did check, and, um, what were you saying??
[ Unified Stash: I'm not sure if this is even possible, but I was thinking, why not make a unified stash that is accessible by all the characters on said account. This would eliminate the need for transfering in between characters on said account, the only time you would have to transfer is when you're transfering between two different accounts.. The stash would understandably be bigger than the D2: Lod one, in fact each character would still have their own stash. The only difference is that you could easily access all of your other char's stuff through this unified architecture. It would work the same way like switching weapons in D2: Lod, but in this case you would be switching stash blades. (ie. BLADE **Character Name) Sort of like in Xbox Live..

I vote yay on that one too. But, I think Blizzard would frown upon players finding great items with a char and then just being able to use those items with a newly created one. It could give that char an unfair advantage. Don't you think this would impact the trade economy of the game?

Example
As you switch between blades, you can see what you have on your other character, use the items, and even move them around in-between blades..
for what?
Like I said, there was another thread, and no, you did not check..
