Clearly the petition isn't as large as they like to make claim, there have been several people who have stated that they are purposely signing it multiple times with the likes of bots/scripts and or normal methods of just rinse repeating with a new email.
it's a shame people would goto such lengths, I would've really liked to see how many people were against it without it being skewed by a few dishonest people.
Shame on a lot of you, I do however respect people who dont like the art, but I do not respect those who would do anything to sway the fate of the votes their way just because they don't want to lose.
Who cares?
A large part of the community still agrees and so do other people agree but you have to agree even then some of the consumers arent as up to date such as the announcement of D3 which would also have a similar agreeing opinion if they saw the trailer. Also some people agree yet arent in touch with the petition or forum they just looked at the trailer and gave out a disappointed *sigh*
Anyways you registered an account just to point out the obvious?
You can see who comments and who does not, simply they will discard any non commented or static comments as bots and the rest as legit users. (More or less)

That's not that many people. You do know the internet is very large right? And the interest in this game is very big. The signatures started going up when it hit the news feeds. They are most likely 95% all real.

This is a mirror of the Uwe Boll petition.
These are never taken seriously.
EDIT: Comments mean nothing. Anybody can sign as many times and put in multiple comments. No validity at all.

I wonder if I should start a petition in real life (though I don't dislike the graphics as they are). I wonder further how I could get a bot to do that for me. I wonder still if people would program bots to go out and vote for them. I wonder, yet again, if a final group of people would program bots to go to a robot plant, change their chassis and vote again.

I doubt botters, maybe SOME people signing 2 or 3 times, but seriously bots? I don't think there are any.
And who cares it made its point.
Exactly, who cares if the whiners had to cheat to get their point across, it just shows how embarrassingly desperate they are
Blizzard knows what their doing people, believe it or not they've done this sort of thing before
80% of the signatures have comments attached, varied, diverse comments about a lot of stuff, some of them are even written in different languages and i assure you they arent false.
How come i cant see any comments? I click on "View Current Signatures" but all i see is the number of sigs with no names or anything.
There are some botters. I've seen quite a few Â, but it's still not as many who agreed. As for the duplicates right next to eachother, they could be due to lag. Thanks for linking the comments though.

By the way, Ultramegazord, doesn't PetitionOnline capture IP addresses?

Hahaha.
It only needs for say every person to sign the petition 4 times and you get:
30.000/4=7500
7500 people, out of which many signed it in a state of nostalgia or haste and you come up with a number around 5000 people that really don't like the graphics/art!

Diablo 3 is graphically and artistically great, there needs to be variety in the game, instead of only plain and dark areas!
+Wouldn't it be better and more interesting if from a sunny beautiful day, mist starts covering the screen, rain starts falling, thunders and lightning striking and it starts to darken, instead of constant dark!?

I didn't comment and I voted.
I agree. Mostly real

Trust me.
