2. Allow for you to convert mats without the need for the item. (white to blue without needing a blue)
3. Take mats and place them into global currency (like gold or shards).
4. Set parameters for automatic pick-up and gear salvaging.
5. Reduce the bounty requirements for solo players.
6. Creation of random in-game events. Ex: Half-way through a bounty an RG will spawn. You have to kill it before the bounty becomes unlocked again.
7. Legendary gem that changes damage type of spenders and primary skills. Gem of the Elements: Primary: Your gem increases the elemental damage of your attacks by 5% increasing 0.4% per rank. Secondary: Place this gem into the cube with 10 flawless royal gems will embue you with an aura that makes all of your attacks that elemental type (10 ruby = fire, 10 sapphire = ice, 10 emerald = poison, 10 topaz = lightning, 10 diamond = physical, 5 ruby + 5 topaz = Holy, 5 emerald + 5 sapphire = arcane). The gem is consumed in this action and the damage bonus to the element is lost.
8. Follower sets and more slots for gear.
9. Pet control options (like for WD Dogs, not cosmetic pets).
10. I want it to rain down gold on everyone when I login to D3. I don't mean that I want it to rain down when anyone joins...only me. Think of it like the fireworks in Johnny Dangerously. *starts raining gold* "Hey fellas! Looks like Thorn is going to play..."
I think a lot of those ideas might be bad game design lol

Sure, and support monks + wds have so much thinking to do I can assure you, they don't. Oh wait, WD's have to stutter step to pick up globes, almost forgot. So much thinking, so much awesome, so much good game design. The only support who has to DO something is the Barb, because he has to get density. But the other two, yeah. No.

what paragon are you? Because you seem like you don't know much...
The monk stays with et wiz to drop sanc and keep alive in 90+, ET wiz must know proper positioning and proper nado sticks on tight corners, barbs should know corners to CC before DR applies.
While pushing grifts (leaderboards or H-grift speeds not schmuck 85s) decision is key and since wizard is one shot by everyhing 90+ that becomes a real chore for the monk.
I don't play WD so dont know much about their support mechanics but pretty sure they are a walking damage boost and they collect orbs... i wouldn't call that stutter stepping either.
That's a lot more complicated than season 3 crap. Stack in middle pull mobs in and dps. Woaaah so much fun.

There we go. Diablo players top argument in a discussion, PARAGON LVL. I am about 1,4k and how do you come to that conclusion? All the points you mentioned can be done by trained monkeys. It's always the SAME. On every fucking map, in every single Rift. The wiz picks a corner, stacks his tornadoes and the rest pulls shit and keeps it in place. FOR ME, this is not FUN GAME DESIGN. But somehow you seem to like it. That's your oppinion, and I have mine. But don't you try to bring up that bullshit paragon lvl argument again. I've played enough this season to be able to judge the gameplay and mechanics. Oh and btw, top 50 Monk atm. I know it's early in the season and all, but just so you know that I don't "seem like I know much".
Oh and btw, you missed my point somehow. Where did I say that last season was better? I said nerf ALL supports. But well, people gonna read what they wanna read.
I don't think that current "3+1" GR system is good or well-designed. Blizzard promised to cure that "no monk no group" thing from the last season but... Well, you know.
What worries me even more (maybe cause I missed something, I don't know) is lack of information about next season. As far as I remember 2.4 should be over by the end of March or so. But what's next? Will there be any changes? New features from 2.4. were announced 2 or 3 months before the patch. Does that mean that we won't see any changes in 2.5? Or is it just too early to expect any info on that?

How so? It wouldn't hurt to have constructive feedback on the ideas.
yes and doubling it is exactly what is needed right now for underperforming sets. For most of them that's most likely not even enough.
honestly ur seeming really dense by your posts about D3 but if you knew anything about D3 youd know the sets mean absolutely nothing, only your Para lvl. Sets get rewritten every patch because they mean nothing, little kids call it content when the only thing that has ever mattered in RoS is paragon
Dear Blizzard i wish you read this: plz plz plz We really need something game breaking in the next patch, give us a new class, that would make it all. begging
no, we don't. what we need is a better balance so that all builds are closer together. Another class would completely destroy any balance the game has.
also, a new class is not something for a simple patch. also, the next will be a minor one for the next season. Nobody forces you to play in the next season if it's not enough for you, you could also just skip a season...
Never going to have balance with how the Paragon system works. Sooner we get an xpac or D4 the better imo. Paragon should be scrapped for a system that involves instead leveling up skills for greater effects. Seasons need to be removed so that progress feels worthwhile, the reset should be new cosmetics, quests, bounties, etc... not starting from lvl 1 with no gear.
A lot of issues with RoS that at first seemed possible to be good, but now are clearly bad.

clearly? It's bad for YOU. That doesn't mean shit.
I do not understand your hostility to my comment, and need to report this.
Paragon is clearly an issue, because it rewards botters. Time played should be a factor, but not THEE factor in success. We have gone down this road before, but again, I do not appreciate your hostility, and it breaks forum rules.

no hostility. You just have a delusion that problems you have with the game are "general problems".
Bots are not a problem. Paragon is not a problem. It's all only a problem for the leaderboards. And those don't matter for the majority of players. And that's what counts. bots and paragons is an issue for hundreds of players out of a playerbase of hundreds of thousands of players.
Leaderboards have been lead by botters, exploiters and nolifers forever and Blizzard hasn't changed anything about it because THEY DON'T MATTER. If you are trying to push the leaderboards but can't compete with cheaters, guess what: Blizzard doesn't care. Why do you?
I guess I do not get how being limited in what group you can play in does not have a negative impact. People need to drop this thought that 99% of players could care less about competing. Even the most casual of casual would like to be successful, and it is discouraging to MOST PLAYERS if you took a poll.
I basically think you should take a look in the mirror with your assertion here, and that maybe the perception of what people care about in the game is off in the eyes of several posters here.
For anyone who wants to "compete", wether it is for the last or the first spot of the Leaderboards, cheates are a problem. The biggest problem of them all to be exact. How realistic it is to get rid of the cheaters, or just have a "Punkbuster/Warden" active to maintain a cheat free environment is up to Blizzard.
Saying that botting is not a problem, and Leaderboards dont matter is just trolling.

I read your ideas over and over now. I'll just go over them and tell you what I feel about it:
1) DPS meter is just a bad idea. It'll be like WoW when gearscore came up. You won't find any groups just because everyone will be asking for your DPS screenshots etc.
2) Just craft a blue if you need mats.
3) This I like. Idea in between: Rise the stack count to 50k or create a 'Material' tab within the stash.
4) Auto pick-up for anything else than gold is just bad. Diablo has always been around picking the stuff up that drops. You really need that extra half of a second elsewhere? I doubt it.
5) It's good as it is. This would push botting even more as they could reroll even more.
6) This one I do like a lot. Random events during bounty runs would freshen farming up.
7) I do understand what you trying to suggest but I think this can hardly be balanced enough.
8) Followers need some love, I agree.
9) Blizzard already stated that WDs won't get control over dogs, fetishes and gargs. For me as WD player I find it alright as it is. Some situations are just a pain and some are alright. I played armymancer in D2 a lot so it's basically the same. I don't see a benefit here as for us WDs we are no WoW hunters.
10) That one made me laugh
Just my thoughts.
Regards!
1. I can understand the DPS meter concern. It's been a while since I have played WoW and have forgotten about those "1.General: Need 2 Ranged DPS (min 3k DPS) No Hunters." call outs in chat. (Note: Even though I was a very, very good hunter. It was still hard to get into raids, but when I did, I kicked everyone elses butt! Go Hunters we are the...look, squirrel!)
2. I prefer not to use mats to make mats, but that would be the faster way to do it.
4. I want to assign auto-pickup because I hate when stacks of stuff layer each other and I can get the one thing I want without picking up everything else. I don't want to pick-up everything, but I would like to auto-grab gems, crafting mats, and certain set/leg pieces that I am trying to get ancient drops for.
5. If it can't be automated, then I would like to see an option to bulk salvage legendaries so I can clean that stuff out faster. Use a cube-like interface for that so I drop in what I want to blow away. This would prevent me from accidentally salvaging something I did want to keep in inventory.
7. The gem idea was just trying to think outside of the box for allowing more diversity in builds without players feeling locked into specific skills.
9. I think that is my old WoW hunter side coming out again. I liked to use my pet to setup for placement, traps, distance, etc. I understand the desire to rely on AI, but it's just not the same.
10. Dare I say that my idea is...gold?

So you'd rather pull groups in the middle of a room and dps them down? HOW is that more involved than what the current meta is?
And I highly doubt that monkeys could play the current meta... they're more likely to be able to smash there buttons in s3 and complete a higher grift than a complete 107 grift in the new meta.
You're rather defensive, chill.
And btw the community decides the meta. If you really want to go and do a grift with a 4 man dps group by all means get some people together and do it. Would you be able to compete? No but you can compete with all the people that don't want to be involved in this meta. Better than crying over and over about it. Just start one big thread and invite all of the people who want to do it.
Maybe s6 they will have a meta of 3 dps and we can all gloat over our numbers but till then let's be constructive. Blizzard hears us but blizzard doesn't decide the meta... and nerfing every item that may have the potential to be a support item just sounds bad.
And so what if that's a Diablo 3 player's main argument? And what i stated wasn't even an argument. I asked you a question. lol
