I think it'll be nice to be able to keep the flow of combat steady and fast-paced, so I voted for the health globes. I don't think it's that big a of a deal, really.

Just for the record, I support the current direction of the art style.
Although I am a fan of the health globes, considering that they keep game play at a constant pace, I preferred the old system. I just think too many people will be relying solely on health globes instead of potions, meaning that traveling in large parties can result to a footrace to every orb that drops.
Orb effects are shared among the party.
And, I don't understand why people are resisting change on this so much. If you think about the core reason it was implemented (to encourage action, and make the game more fun.) then it seems pretty foolish to dismiss without truly thinking about it, playing it, or seeing more of it.
you NEED more options on your pole.. maybe the globes won't have a lead role anyways, there are still potions.
There should be an i don't care option, because i don't care at all. Why is running to a health globe so much worse than pressing a number to drink a potion?
I love the Health Globes simply because i hated having to use so many potions at once.
I could never get the image out of my head of my Necro unstoppering 4 Health positions, tilting his head back and sculling them all at once and then smashing the bottles on his forehead.
The way I see it's going to work like this: the game's gonna have very fast paced action, and the globes will keep people going withount having to return to town.
The potions will probably have to be used in BOSS encounters, since there's no globe drop if you are fighting only one enemy :P.
To make a comparison, if anyone here has ever played MEGA-MAN, the globes are the small energy items you find in the level, and the potions will be the "batteries" you use for the bosses .
Health Globes make it seem easier to level at a constant pace. Pick one up and let it heal you, potions you have to have it set to a number and have one in your inventory. Much better imo.

I can't vote for this poll.
You know, they don't put a none of the above option on the ballets to vote(at least no where I'm aware of). Typically if people don't care, they don't vote. :):cute:
I like the accessibility of skills but I wish they would have let say.. One button open for potions and it would just auto stack your health potions in one and mana potions in another. Because what happens if you're in a bind against a boss? Me and my friend were talking about this and his exact words were "I don't really like the little red orb idea.. seems too much like an arcade game. What happens if I grab it too soon then turn the corner and get boned by another wave?"
WoW has health regen but they also have potions.
