And people think that they're seeing the final product.
Diablo3 is nowhere near done, and it wont be for quite some time. Hell, there are still jobs out there specifically for d3, notably the 3D environment position.

Everybody needs to sit back and chill.
With that said, they have been working on Diablo 3 for quite some years now.

People did the same thing with StarCraft 2. We all have big expectations for this game (Probably insanely through the roof for some.). It will level out soon. Don't worry.
SC2 had quite a bit of footage as well, and thats probably not set to release until 09, 2 years after it was announced. I'd gladly wait til' 2010 to play an amazing d3 rather than an average d3. WoW was in development for YEARRRRRRRS.
My question is if any one has caught a release date, yet? This is a long time coming, so I can be irritated a little longer 'til its release.

Ideas; not necessarily the actual game. Like they did this StarCraft 2.. StarCraft 2 was put aside for WoW (:()
That may be..
“It’s been in development for a few years. About four.” Wilson admits and of course, when asked the next Big Question: a release date, he gives the typical Blizzard response. “When it’s done,”
Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce was quick to add that, even after four years, “it’s far too early in development.”

I'll have to disagree with you there, D3 looks a lot more advanced than SC2 when it was unveiled.
SC2 missed and is still missing tons of simple things like units quotes, portrait and icons, and the devs still seem to be quite confused about some issues.
Still this could be just an illusion since they didn't show us that much gameplay yet.
Anyway, I'm feeling upbeat today so I'd say it'll be out in a year or so.
Rob Pardo said that they announce a game 1 to 1 1/2 year before the release. So this game is going to be released in 2010 (MAX) and 2009 around june (MIN).
He also said that all the other clases are playable and that the full ACT I was playable
well, they announced it, dosnt mean it has awhile to go if they already have dungeons, npcs, most game mechanics, and bosses that pick your character up and bite their head off done.
Im thinking they mainly have to work out some bugs, buffer battle.net, and test the other classes...
May 09 latest most likely.
Also, keep in mind that the D3 site actually has almost as much info about D3 as the WotLK website has about Wotlk

That might be but when it came out the game was full of bugs and problems that it felt like a beta test of the game was released.

May 09... HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA... I'd be surprised if StarCraft 2 was out by then.

Making Controversial points one post at a time!

Much, much, much, much, much, much less than most MMOs though.. Look at Age of Conan.
