I apologize if this has been said already, but from the threads I've looked in I have not seen this theory yet.

Ok, currently there are three runes.
WotLK, DiabloII, and Starcraft2
Has anyone considered this?
WotLK: Even in Warcraft III : Frozen Throne the "shael" like symbol is not clearly seen and in fact the runes on his sword were not distinguishable until the WotLK art.
Diablo II: Obviously a Hel rune from Diablo II.
Stracraft 2: This rune is a particular symbol from a tribal clan in Starcraft 2 and in Starcraft 2 alone.
--------------
Are you getting my point yet? If not then here it is.
Every game represented as runes on the Blizzard splash are runes that represent the NEW upcoming games except for one... Diablo.
--------------
I expect the next rune to be a rune that none of us can identify.
Well even so there is no point opening a thread about it , there's a forum overload with perfectly good ones.
So you just troll the forums all day and kick up your post count by making fun of people? This hasn't been mentioned anywhere before and is a new idea. If there wasn't a new thread then it would have gotten overlooked in the sea of people reposting info we already know. I would have named the thread something more attention grabbing.
My point is not that they're the major franchises it goes like this...
Last year during the teaser for Starcraft2 they included every game made until the final reveal of Starcraft2. They listed the old games, they listed the more up to date games and did it in a very random order.
Now looking at last year's unveilling of Starcraft2 you have to wonder. Why are the runes from the upcoming "announced games". Why didn't they start with a runic symbol such as a horde or alliance tag or whatever rune they can possibly make from Warcraft1-3? Why didn't they start with a runic symbol from the first Starcraft game or Brood War?
Also if anyone else noticed this at all, every rune placed out in the past 3 days go in the order of the WWI T-shirt someone else posted on this site. WotLK, Diablo, Starcraft2.
Obvious or not. I believe there might be a connection.
Well the reason why no one would be posting in this thread right now is that this may seem a little redundant due to all the "Diablo 3 Confirmed" threads.
i posted a thread like this yesterday, it also got shot down. I could see some significance in the fact that Diablo is the only franchise with a rune from an older release, just as I did when they did the sc splashes. It really doesn't matter in the end, cause your not gonna get anymore praise than the first poster who posts OMG ITS DIABLO 2 after the logo appears on Saturday. Good find tho, its nice to see others who think like I do are also trying to find something more out of what so little we've been given so far.

@ thread poster: You have a point, but it is obvious.
Yes.
Yes.
Y-fucking-es.

It's not obvious or someone else would have mentioned it before IMO. I didn't contribute by saying this was a new idea?
If would confirm this theory by checking the SC1 game manual and seeing if that symbol matches any of the old "clans" in the protoss history.

His wasn't even an Idea, "the 3 runes are from the 3 games so the next might be something we don't recognize"
Who cares?
Its like me saying "The ice in the picture is blue"
And saying it's a new idea isn't a very good contribution.
That would answer my question. However, what's obvious to you and me may not be obvious to others.
The world doesn't revolve around you or anyone else.
